    When someone says " We need to do something" most of the time it really means you have to do something that is not required of you.

      Do not let anyone persuade you to get their help to go down your path, either. You will inevitably be taken off your path and onto their's. Never accept anyone's help. They will make you pay for it. Should you want help, or need help, still avoid it. Never receive help.

    I'll add 2. 1)Watch out for people that will try to manipulate you with flattery. Since even normally skeptical people can be duped by flattery, even temporarily. 2) Using your words against you. "You said that you wanted x y & z, right?". Some people will appeal to your ego by asking you about yourself to find out what you want or goals that you have, simply in order to use those things to manipulate you. (managers)

    Take it from somebody who’s been through the ringer and back, never trust anybody. If you want to keep something a secret, then keep it to yourself, because people are not worthy of trust, and I’m not saying that in a bad way, that’s just human nature, and you cannot stop human nature, but instead learn to adapt to it, and that way you keep yourself safe.

    I experienced almost all of these yesterday dealing with a female that tried to scam me and then use that information as leverage to verbally abuse me in hopes of lowering my self esteem, self worth, and self image, as well as for her own entertainment and monetary gain. $4 later and a huge NO to her ultimate quest of profiting for being a covert narcissistic C to me, she finally left without incident and frustrated. I was on to her from the jump but had to entertain the con to ensure her story was accurate. Unfortunately, she wasn't consistent enough to pull it off and continuously would do and say things that would contradict the story in which I was supposed to believe and do things that I normally wouldn't simply bc I believed her story to be true. I didn't call her out on every little lie or misstep of her attempts at manipulating me I simply let her play herself as I continued to be me and kept inquiring more and more about the story. She finally couldn't keep up the verbal facade so she took action by leaving and most likely a retreat to think on the story and how to expand it rather than making it up as she went bc she knows that I would remember what was said as she would not be able to keep all the lies straight and at that point there would be no denying and her game would be over. Lol. She's truly not the type of female a man would want to invest time with so she can run the smear campaign and stalk me all she wants but I'm never going to conform to her insecurities and manipulative behavior and personality defects. Beanie Baby is not my lover she just a girl who claims that I am the one... hahahaha

    As a sales person sometimes speaking quickly isn't always the best way to go. In my experience speaking slower and deliberately placing emphasis on certain words works better. This is mostly the case if you're selling something technically complicated or to the elderly. Speaking at a more relaxed pace also works if you are showing different products but want the customer to buy the one you want.

      @indridcold8433 4 года назад +2

      @@terrybyrd5105 it is best to not trust anybody and keep everyone at a distance. As for making friends with a human, I would advise against that. Humans have not been capable of friendship since around 2000. It is an ability gradually lost from antiquity to about 2000. After 2000, some humans will go through the motions of being a friend. However, the ability os lost. One will inevitably victimise the other in the false friendship very soon. It is best to interact with others in a manner that a client would interact with a service provider or a merchant. This assures the shortest possible interaction and a minimal possibility of the person becoming familiarised with you. Never try to be someone's friend. Never let anybody approach you for amicable nor amorous reasons. They are not your friend nor are they looking to make a friend. You have been warned.

    I watched the first point they made about making friends and concluded from that the whole thing is probably about adopting some phony attitude towards other people to get what you want. That is a sure way to create a cynical society in which no one can trust anybody else.

    7:55 Reciprocity - this ended up working in reverse for me from a boss I had who used to manipulate people this way. I worked on the weekends and would take any extra work and often 8 hours turned into 12. I was always there, which made his life easier but in truth I was making a lot of money, which was my goal. One day he was so happy he brought me into his office and closed the door and told me anytime I need a favor just ask him because (he) works like that. I knew better lol but played it cool. It worked out later on when getting vacation was hard - he gave me 3 weeks so I could travel abroad! + I saved a lot from working so much extra.

    Way before the coronavirus social distancing protocols, anybody that came within two meters of me was instantly scrutinised and I did all I could to keep the person away from me. Nobody is going to approach someone they do not know just to talk. That person wants something you have. I would become instantly defensive when someone came within two meters of me. I have no friends so someone trying to be friendly to me is highly suspect.
