@@captlee3732 There is no really good way to go, all deaths are tragic and so it does not matter all that much. Accidents stimulate the imagination but diseases are as cruel if not more painful. So why focus on one single fatal accident day when there are decades of amazing adventures all filmed by Malcolm. We should be grateful to him and remember that huge field of adventures. On a positive note i think it's good that it's a civilization made machine that took him, not the dangerous wildlife and deserts.
im very sad to have just read the comments rip malcolm. i have made your fish and mango and coconut dish and it was gorgeous, love every video you made. i wish i had a pound every time i said " never seen anything like that before in all my life" xxx
I camped in the middle of nowhere, about 50 ks north of Marree. It's desolate country. Lucky we slept in a tent and not swags. There was a mouse plague, and they were climbing all over the tent at nighttime, there were thousands of them. We made about five or six mousetraps out of 2LT coke bottles and some cooking oil, by the morning they were full to the top with mice. I also did the clutch in on that trip in my 4x4, I had to use the starter motor to get the 4x4 moving, made it all the way back to Port Augusta. I also drove the Oodnadatta track in a VS Holden Commodore, we went through four spare tires. I left an old driver's license pinned to the roof of the Oodnadatta hotel, it's covered in drivers licensees, I wonder if they are still there? Good times...
Been to Big Red, Cameron corner and Birdsville back in 2016. What they don't tell you is in between the sand dunes, should it rain, they can turn into mini Lakes.
This guy should have been paid to promote Toyota….I would never trust any other make of vehicle out there. And that particular model especially…the Diesel 4.2litre Turbocharged straight six troop carrier is 100% certified…an absolute beast…it will take you anywhere AND bring you back!
Funny how the notion of desert is relative. They talk about lush vegetation when the desert is covered with bushes, i still call it a desert, and they call a desert what looks to me like planet Mars.
fkn wow ive been to the bubbles, even then you couldnt go there without special permission. There is a curse if you throw anything in there. they are sacred aboriginal sites, if you didnt know what i meant.
RIP Malcolm Douglas ! Miss you mate . Great Aussie Legend . God Bless .
And that's why you should always put your handbrake in guys safety first

AWESOME DOC...
Malcolm: "I'm not putting sauce on it.. Wrecks the flavour... Where's the salt?"
Salt accentuates flavor, sauce adds flavors.
Salt adds flavour
Sauce has salt in it - it adds new flavour and promotes existing flavours at same time.
@@greendeane1 flavour
Sauce!!!
You can thank. Aboriginals. For most of. Knowledge. About bush living. I'm sure you appreciate. Them. For it. !!!!
He acknowledges that in his shows Maurice

That diesel kept going. Love the old troopies
Australia's interior would be perfect for a railroad.
Did anyone see that appaloosa ?
It's stinking hot and the aboriginal man has got a jumper on
@bigears4426 that aboriginal man is smart it gets bloody hot and what he,s wearing is a flannette not a jumper
Absolut jewel 🖤🌞♦️
I wonder if that 16 yr jackaroo knew who stopped by for a cuppa so many years ago.
Barcoo saddle. Collar check blanket. Akubra Sombrero. As good as it gets.
REMINDER: ALWAYS PUT HANDBRAKE ON BEFORE YOU EXIT CAR

Seeing Molly stomping to rid herself of those and I can see how the Aboriginal dances originated.
Sorry that’s no Road train.
Why not?
@@BareFootDuck simple roads trains consist of three trailers or more. This was my old man’s truck. He use to drive kms with four trailers.
@@Grant80 Anything with 2 trailers or more are classed as road trains.
But don't take my word for it, Look it up.
@@BareFootDuck no tri trekkers are considers Tandem or B doubles. Three or more are road trains.
