For me, the pick of what was a superb collection: really sums up where these two fantastic actors took their characters.
The genuine “What- What the hell-? Does Izzy- Does Burke know about this?” From George always gets me

lets all appreciate that the writers didnt make this two a couple (or have a history.of sleeping.with each other)

It is always so cute when Mer is being Christina's person or Christina being Alex person or Alex being Mer's person. It shows that the bond of friendship runs deeper than even erotic love and it's beautiful.

It’s literally insane.
But there’s a difference…. Alex left Joe to be with Izzie and their children. Lizzie is and have always been the love of his life. Jo was just someone that was holding her place for if and when she came back into the picture 🤷🏽♂️
@@mikest468 There's a VERY small difference. I understand that he has always loved Izzie. But the way he left Jo was inexcusable!!! He could have left in a different way. But the way they did it went back on ALLLLLL the character development we had seen from his character.
He should have respected the life and relationship he had created with Jo. The promises he had made to her and the vows he had made to her. She deserved so much better than him disappearing on her and then eventually writing a half assed letter saying he has gone to live with Izzie. Izzie left him just like that. No explanation, no respect.
Just because things have changed for you, doesn't mean you get to just throw everything away without looking back. He married Jo. He promised her a life, love, family. After everything she'd been through, everything he had seen her go through....he should have done better.
Don't get me wrong...I'm not saying he had to stay with Jo. But he didn't have to do her like that!
@@mikest468 The way they wrote him off the show just killed his character development entirely. We watched him fall in love with Jo for years, knowing her abandonment issues, abuse and everything, and they made him a coward who didn’t have the decency to tell his WIFE that he was leaving her. Disgraceful.

5:12…she was so proud of him. Her voluntarily giving him a hug, the soft voice, and heart eyes. They rag on each other a lot because peak sibling energy but she knew Alex had it like that. The way he reacted was cute too! He stood there a bit in shock lol but turned away a bit bashful, appreciative, and proud of himself.

You have noooo idea how many times me and my sister have forgiven to each other like this. So accurate it actually blows my mind.
My favorite running gag in this show is that all of Alex’s girlfriends have some kind of physical/mental trauma so every time he gets in a relationship he knows it probably won’t end well. It’s funny but sad at the same time. Also side note remember when we all hated Alex Karev? Yeah, me neither.

I love the scene where Yang and Karev are chatting in bed. Meredith is like their mother, teaching them how to be emotionally supportive to each other.
This friendship was iconic.
I love this so much. Their character development through their relationship is slow boiling, but makes a big impact.

I still LOVE GA post Alex and Cristina but it was another world back then! It was like sky isn't even the limit! We're so blessed to have had them so long in that glorious story of GA!❤️

I love so much when Alex tells Cristina "You have to forgive me!", because it's so similar to when you and your siblings don't get along and they drive you crazy, but you still love them even though you hate them. In his mind, they have to forgive him even if he screws up, because they are his family, and that's what family does.

They really did Alex’s ending so dirty. I get it’s because he had to check himself into rehab but they did such a horrible disservice.
Alex ended up with his first love Izzie, the girl who made him human, and his kids. Is that bad? Jo got hurt, true, but she will find joy with Link, who is also very nice

If you notice , the dynamics between this trio , mer Christina and Izzy and Maggie mer and Amelia are all so different . It’s the beauty of the show

Gorge telling alex falling 1 part of his bord was embarrassing but he did pass his bords by 1 point carma at its finest
among the OG (M.A.G.I.C) Alex is one so relatable. His arc is one of the best, from being a total jerk, to one of the best pediatric surgeon out there. Kudos to Justin Chambers for the amazing portrayal of this tough shelled but soft hearted character.

I’m an Alex apologist he can do no wrong - I convinced myself Izzie forced him to leave Jo 😅
Yesss! My headcanon is that Izzie lied about Alex being her kids' father and he finds out then leaves her, comes back to Seattle, is all HI MER GUESS WHAT! is a complete broken mess but it all ends happily ever after with him and Jo back together. (I haven't gone beyond season 17 yet so I don't know what's happening with the Jo/Link thing - more relationship musical chairs 🙄), and though I loved Izzie, she could be incredibly selfish and destructive so this feels more in character with her than Alex just cutting and running from Jo. Urgh what I would give for this to be a thing!

I really hate the way they had Alex leave the show, but honestly thinking about it, it gives him the chance to come back. He didn’t die or anything. I mean there were a billion better ways to handle it tbh but he didn’t die so there’s always a chance they’ll meet up again at some point
