Love the way you make the kits your own Dave - even if you do ignore our instructions 😂😂😂 That’s what this hobby is all about tho - having fun with it all!!! Looking forward to part 2
It's fun to see another one of your brilliant concepts come to life. Taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary seems to be your forte! I'm wondering if a couple of CO2 cartridges for an air pistol painted copper would do for the distillery tanks? I suppose it would work if the scale is right, can't really tell from my perspective on the other side of the screen 😆 might give it a try if you have some around. Thanks for sharing 🤙🏼
I did think about it but I'm taking the spirit of the interior rather than a faithful reproduction, so it will be a corner counter up that end and some fridges with drinks in roughly where the ones are in the picture, so similar but not the same 🙂
@@darrenhall6400 I'm actually hoping we don't get there before wednesday, otherwise I'll ahve to re-record Wednesday's video 😂 Ideally next weds WitB should be the Mrs SlotR box, but you watch it'll be 999 on next weds or something 🤣😂🤣
Hey Dave, a question for you.. Do you know if the carrera start light is able to plug into the carrera cu piece! Sorry if ive asked before, ive asked a few youtubers, no reply as yet :) btw i know the start light comes with a digital track piece but im interested inlearning if it can plug into the cu part of the carrera system. cheers!
I mean I don't know for sure as I've not got one but that's my educated guess. What you might consider is ebay seller (germany) eastend117 who makes a more versatile alternative start light system that you might be able to hook into the adapter socket on the far side of the CU unit and modify a little to fit over the CU, that's my best suggestion
@@slotr ah gosh darn, gonna have to jig my track planner. I have limited space .. 11ft x 5ft ..and would like to include the start light...thx for the reply at this hour, was gonna hang around for the two lines stream at 1am to ask.. Cheers :)
Hi Dave I have the same kit which I've built without the wooden base, there is a quick view of it on my channel if you're interested?. I'm sure yours is going to look amazing and quite retro. Love your channel and find the posts informative and quite quietly amusing. Well done sir keep up the great work 👍👍
Really nice bit of kit bashing. Thanks for the gluing and assembly tips. Always enjoy your perspective of video production. 👍

the start light unit itself is the width of a 2 lane track, so no, I would say the extra bit for the actual CU unit would get in the way
