Trent is adept at answering a question while not answering the question if he feels it might be misinterpreted. Smart lad
Good take. It's actually a very manipulative and smarmy interview. Trent did very well to navigate it and defuse the more incendiary leading questions.

You call it shady, but at least he got a bit tested here and it said a lot more about him than the same old boring interviews where the same questions and answers get repeated over and over.
Footballers aren't the same as interviewing actors or something where they'll just give you things- you have to poke a bit to see where it will go.

His family home is in west derby, same place as melwood

what are you talking about? some brilliant questions in there. it went places many interviews dont. good questioning at the right times from Alistair. its just his style not to talk the arse out of an interview when he knows everyone just wants to hear from Trent.
