Poor game management again from Ryan. Very worried for Saturday. 😔

Where was James Lowe and Joe Mc Carty? Leo said he wouldn't let his players sit on the side lines for 3 weeks yet these two players never featured once. Then you have the likes of Gibson Park and Dan Sheehan who only featured briefly off the bench last week among many others i can't remember off the top of my head. All 4 should have featured against Ulster. Now once again we have a match on Saturday and have more than 4 players who haven't played a test in 3 weeks and will not be at match fitness. A complete waste of talent. We could have won that game if he simply stuck to his word and gave every one a run out. Now we've lost a home semi, home final, and are going into a Champions cup game with several players undercooked. Great week Leo, Jaysus.

Would love to see Leinster's strong team facing the Bulls in the Semi finals at Loftus. Leinster owes us their strongest team in SA😅😅😅

I thought the arrival of Jacques Nienaber was supposed to stop Leo Cullen’s tinkering. The South Africans believe in hardening players through frequent play.
Three years now Leo has been chopping and changing all to no avail. Haven’t we learned a thing?
The pressure is on Leinster big time now l, because if we lose on Saturday, his head will be on the chopping block for sure.
As for Ryan’s decision not to take the penalty? That was madness. And arrogant. First secure your four points. Then worry about the five.

Munster delighted to be league leaders for 2 weeks at least. We will have to contain Ulster then.

Leinsters phase play attack, especially inside the 22 is so poor and almost outdated. When you look at Leinster, you see team full of world class players that are use to winning at the highest level with a world class defense and a really strong lineout. Whether they can get over the line with such a poor attack remains to be seen

It's a bit late for Jackman to be complaining about bench. Leinster haven't had quality back up props or second rows for years. Healy, Moloney not good enough against La Rochelle, Toulouse or Ssracens. Yes, beat Toulouse at home but very lucky last year that prop headbutted Var de Flier with Toulouse having a 5 meter lineout. Changed game. However, if they pick Milne and Foley for Saturday then Leinster win. McGrath takes too long and Healy has my ability around pitch and his scrummaging is very ordinary. He should be out to grass. This is a professional game not a retirement home. And Ryan showed disrespect to Ulster by not taking 3 points and also not being aware of points table.

I agree with the comments made by the lads . Ryan as captain made mad choice not to take three points.
If Cullen dose notwin a trophy this year and Munster win the championship , He gone in the next two years . Ritchie Murphy will be bitting at the bit. 😮

Ryan isn't the great hope everyone thought. He's a woeful captain.

Maybe not disrespectful but I wonder is the right word hubris. I was in the stands and no one, neither the Leinster or the Ulster supporters around me, could understand why the hell they kicked to the corner at that point instead of taking the 3 points. Thats not to take anything away from Ulster who fully deserved that win given the overall game.

Resting players for finals doesn’t seem to work, as seen in the past. Top Players need game time to work as a team. Intense training hasn’t worked in the past. I’m worried for the final on Saturday. It’s the coaches decision! Hopefully I’m wrong.

Also I think very telling that leinster have lost the core of players that just new how to win, from years of winning. Healy the last one there and if they don't win this year of next in champions cup I fear it may keep happening.

Leinster got away with it against Northampton, but this time lost to ulster by shutting up shop and box-kicking and trying to defend and see out match.

For once disagree with MK. Ulster A vs Leinster B, in Ravenhill. Leinster two bad injuries in the first half, still outscore Ulster 3 tries to 2 who needed a late pen to win it. Lots of Leinster "luck" was good defending. Maybe not great but certainly not a "very poor" performance.
Jackman is right. Strength in depth not quite what it was and not taking the points a howler of a decision.

Ulster threw away 14 points. Rooney to Stockdale on the left wing and Addison to Lowery on the right.

Said it before... Nienaber is culturally a bad fit for Leinster. They're simply not as potent as last year. Toulouse will tear them apart. That rush
D can be picked easily by those skillful and flamboyant Toulouse players....

Delighted to finally see Healy get proper minutes. Still better scrummager than porter. More minutes can bring him right back up to being a dangerous bench threat.

Healy was finished 5 years ago. A total weak link.

    • @FuturesTrader87

@@marooned-ou4fj But Porter hasn't done anything for Leinster, 2018 cup he played 15mins off bench. The amount of scrum penalties he gives away is hard to watch. Now look I know we are unlikely to see another Healy but I feel when they started reducing his minutes so drastically they screwed him. You can't expect him to give same impact with so few minutes, he needs game time.

    • @marooned-ou4fj
      @marooned-ou4fj 5 месяцев назад

@FuturesTrader87 if Healy is that good why don't Leinster give him minutes. We know what they think of him by the minutes he's got in last 5 years. Yet they persist.

Ryan is one of the most overrated players in Ireland. Keenan is pure class though. He kept Leinster in it in both attack and defense
