    Thank you so much for teaching us all this painting. I have just started to learn.I love your videos, and I look forward to see a text on the screen because I do not hear everything you say, - and then I speak another language so I have to concentrate very hard to hear all the importants information you give us. I have noticed that some videos have text, so I would love that if you can make it. Thank you for all your information to us "green once"

    Hi Tash thanks so much for your video , so great to watch a SA video for a change. it was one of the best explanations i have found , could you perhaps thin of doing a video on the different pouring mediums and what is available to us in SA. I have not done my first pour yet, I am still confused flow trowl / pouring mediums ect

      @HappyArtistTash  3 года назад +2

      Not a problem, yeah that was an early version and was thinking of doing a new one. Floetrol is not found in SA, we'd need to import it 💵 but I'll get a few different mediums, including my homemade one, to compare

    Hi, thank you for this fantastic tutorial. I have a question, when you use dish soap, can you varnish afterwards or is it like the silicone?

    • @HappyArtistTash
      @HappyArtistTash  3 года назад

      I clean it anyways before I varnish, but it most certainly doesn't leave big oily marks like silicone does

  • @raindances3310
    @raindances3310 3 года назад

    I'd yoy use this method how do you stop the oil from directly hitting the canvas? This keeps happening to me and the paint won't settle over it, leaving a bare spot of canvas.

    • @HappyArtistTash
      @HappyArtistTash  3 года назад +1

      You can lightly brush a layer of your base colour on the canvas, that way if it does get there you can't see it. Otherwise, try avoid putting silicone in the base layer too, so the silicon shouldnt push the lowest level 👍

  • @daniellaliborius3547
    @daniellaliborius3547 3 года назад

    For the dish soap option, how would you need to clean your canvas before putting resin on?

    • @HappyArtistTash
      @HappyArtistTash  3 года назад +1

      I would still give it a wipe down and use baby powder, you'll see I actually did a bit of a test on a previous video where I show how I clean canvases and the baby powder worked the best 😊

    Watching the video it seems like the dish soap got cells when the over spray from the silicone hit it.

    • @HappyArtistTash
      @HappyArtistTash  3 года назад

      Yes I gained a few of the smaller cells I think, but the larger ones was definitely from the dish soap 😁

    Can I use mineral oil?

    • @HappyArtistTash
      @HappyArtistTash  2 года назад +1

      You can, it should create cells but I'm not sure if it will cause damage or discolouration in time?
