Thanks for showing us round Bob. A nice suite with a real fresh feel, not the largest you’re ever going to find but seems perfectly formed, so could see myself happy in there. Will have to try them out sometime as I know you’re fans.
Great cabin tour, looks very modern and comfortable. Really liked the heated bathroom floor and vanity unit, not seen that before. Can’t wait to see the series 👏
@@cruisefraterpoultons Thank you! Viking are rather standalone, compared to every other cruise line; they just seem to think and act differently, and that’s mostly a very good thing imo. On the whole, it’s our favorite line.
A great cabin tour. It may be quite small but seems to have everything you need and more. The heated bathroom floor is very luxurious. I'd feel very spoilt cruising with Viking. Looking forward to seeing more.
@@joanfreestone1707 Thank you, Joan. The heated floor is a great feature to have. We are on the sixth of a 14-day cruise with Viking as I write this, so the rest of the more involved series will wait until later this year; just a bit too complex to produce while cruising. Another series will come out prior to that, and run from the middle of August through mid October - then, this one
@@cruiseforever1281 Storage is certainly on the low side - we’ve been in a Junior Suite twice, but the model in the middle, a ‘Penthouse Veranda’- is probably the best compromise for us; next time 😊
@@warrenwolf4690 Thanks, Warren! I know, but it’s quite a bit to produce, while still on the road, or the seas as it were. Since we’ve been gone early, April, we have produced two ship tours and three room tours 😂 Of course, it is still a vacation! Prior to the Viking series, mid August through probably mid October another one will run, then this one.
Hi Bob👋🏻🕺 really enjoyed your video tour of Viking’s deluxe balcony! I had heard the rooms carried Freia’s Melkesjokolade (my fave!🍫); Norwegian here and now I see it🍫 firsthand!👌🏻Ohhhhh those heated bathrm floors - fantastic‼️ @Innocents Abroad
Hi Linea! Glad you enjoyed the room tour! We were gone so long this Spring & Summer, we've just completed airing our first vlog series (P&O). This room tour was filmed early July this year in Istanbul; the vlog series for which will begin early December, with the ship tour (am literally editing it now) due out Friday Nov 29. Thanks for watching, and taking time to comment! Good virtually meeting you' yesterday.
Like the size of the table on the balcony - just right to order in (cream tea perhaps 😊). I do find that style of bathroom sink awkward though - it seems a wasteful amount of water needed to fill.
@@virtualgardener Agreed, that table is quite large. Interesting take on the sink, I hadn’t thought of it, but if one is going to fill it, I suppose it would take quite a bit! Hugs to Dax 😘
Lovely cabin tour, especially liked the bathroom heated floor and the vanity area in the desk. Was it filmed in Istanbul Galataport, it looked familiar?
Well-spotted, and thank you! As is typical, we try to film a room tour on boarding day, so we can then 'live' in it! This was indeed Galataport on June 30 this year.
@@InnocentsAbroad we were very impressed with Galataport, very modern and great views too. Looking forward to your blogs from that cruise in a while when they are scheduled. Have a great week ahead 😍
@@cruisefraterpoultons That series will tentatively begin airing late October (I will probably begin editing it late September) just a couple weeks after the P&O Scandinavia series finishes.
What a great, well paced, nicely articulated and perfect relaxed viewing-span of this lovely stateroom Bob ! I love the two separate chair configuration adjacent to the veranda - plenty of relaxing space with fresh sea breezes as we are naughty and like to keep our sliding door open 🙂 Never having cruised Viking yet, but planning to do New England/Canada in 2025, may I ask how well soundproofed your stateroom was relative to food tread above you and side/adjacent stateroom noise ? We like serene cruising so this is very important to us. Cheers to you and may you and your wife enjoy scads more fun, exciting and relaxing cruises to come ! Marcia and Timbo
@@marciasanguinetti3900 Hi Marcia & Timbo, thank you for the kind words! Regarding soundproofing, it’s certainly not 100%; the cabin next door liked to play their television at a fairly high volume, so we could occasionally hear it, thankfully, they appeared to retire quite early to bed 🤣 You’re going to have a wonderful time on your first Viking cruise, especially as you say you like serene spaces - the Wintergarden is somewhere you will probably be very comfortable hanging out. You can check out our channel for Viking Venus and Viking Orion ship tours if you want to see the whole thing- ship tour for Viking Jupiter will probably not air till mid November (lots of other airing in between). Thanks for taking the time to comment!

You know I did the Adriatic and Agean in the opposite route-Venice down all the way around to Barcelona!
@@cherifurr3935 Cool, though west around Italy to Barcelona would not pass through the Aegean, but Mediterranean. still sounds nice!
