Nine carvers competed in the fiercely fun 2015 Hope World Class Chainsaw Carving Competition in Memorial Park from Thursday August 13 to Sunday August 16. Mark Colp (top right) won the event. (Competition placement as follows) Ryan Anderson placed second, third place went to Jake Lucas for his ode to Edgar Allen Poe’s “the Raven,” fourth place went to Tomas Vrba - there was a tie for fifth place between Ryan Cook and Chris Foltz, Pete Ryan placed sixth, Brigitte Lochead placed seventh, Randy Gauthier placed eighth and last but not least Rock La Rock placed ninth. The people’s choice for the entire competition went to Mark Colp. Кино
