It covers my experiences during my recent trip to maldives in November 2020. We stayed at Coco Bodu Hithi Resorts,Maldives. It seems to be like a dream now to me.This video is the Part 2 of my travel video with Overwater Villa. I shot this video on my Gopro Hero 8 Action Camera. we stayed at this island resort this april , the place is good but for us the service was very moderate i could say a 3/5 , these people gave us the water villa stay at arrival after a long wait , and two villas was given at different times all others had to wait at one villa . when asked they say they do it for all , but the check out time , irrespective of whenever they gives us the villa , its 12 PM next day
the food at AIR restaurant was good , water sports is too expensive with tax Jet skiing costs $500 for 30 minutes , we don't mind money on a holiday trip ,we took it , but i felt Kayakie is better and very enjoyable which is also part of our package. #krinu

Love your video. Just remember next time you go snorkeling to rinse your mask with toothpaste before going in, then it will not fog. You apply toothpaste with a finger and rub, and then you rinse, do not touch after that, you can make it even better by rubbing saliva on and rising just before going in.

Thanks. Both are amazing at their place, overwater villa gives you the feel of staying everytime over the water and great accessibility to snorkeling anytime of the day with beautiful fishes and peace. And on the other side, island villa particularly of coco bodu hithi has an unmatchable luzury of perfect pool, open air shower and water proof bed on one side and a lavish green path leading to your private beach beds waiting for you to witness beach and waves without any disturbance like we use to get at any other beach !!

They provide a pair of snorkeling kits complementary, you can use it for your entire stay at coco’s. I travelled maldives in the month of November, it was pleasant enough 😊

We stayed 2 nights in island villa and 2 nights in water villa. We did snorkeling, jet skiing, went for spa and sat by the beach for hours having pizza and beer 🥂

Drinks are really expensive in every Private Island Villa. If you wanna really get drunk on your vacation, i better advice you to opt for Full Board Package that includes Drinks also !!

Water Villa costs around 880-900 US$, depends upon the deal you get from the resort !!

I hope everybody is keeping well in your family among these times !!
Maldives budget depends upon the category of Resort or Island you choose to stay at. The budget i’m gonna share would be according to 5* island resort.
Flights- as per your location, it costed me around Rs 33,000 per head from Amritsar.
Airport Transfers- Our resort was near to airport, so we chose boat transfers that costed us around 150 US$ per person (round ticket). If your resort is distant far, you have to use sea plane that would cost you around 300-400 US$ per person(round ticket)
Villas- We stayed 2 nights in Private Island Villa(shown in this video) that costed me around 685 US$ per night including breakfast and dinner followed by the 2 nights stay at Over Water Villa(shown in Part 2 of maldives series) that costed me around 930 US$ per night included 2 meals.
Lunch and evening snacks- This resort was having a variety of 5 different restaurants and bars on island, and we tried different foods at the time of lunch and evening that usually costed us 150 US$ for a meal and drinks for 2 persons.
Water sports- Every resort to keep their scale of facilities high give some activities complementary, coco bodu hithi provided us Snorkeling kits for the entire time of out stay, so we tried snorkeling at different spots of the island(you can see in part 2). Apart from it, Jet ski costed us around 190 US$ for 30 minutes.
I guess i covered every main expense of our trip !!
