We stayed 2 nights in island villa and 2 nights in water villa. We did snorkeling, jet skiing, went for spa and sat by the beach for hours having pizza and beer 🥂

Well, it depends upon the time you visit maldives. In the month of November, it costed us 880-900 US$ per night including Breakfast and Dinner.

Yeah right, but this island isnt that large to need a bike to explore its beauty, i felt complementary snorkeling kits were more required than bicyclesso that none of the guest could miss the underwater beauty of this island !!

Hey I hope everybody is keeping well in your family among these times !! Maldives budget depends upon the category of Resort or Island you choose to stay at. The budget i’m gonna share would be according to 5* island resort. Flights- as per your location, it costed me around Rs 33,000 per head from Amritsar. Airport Transfers- Our resort was near to airport, so we chose boat transfers that costed us around 150 US$ per person (round ticket). If your resort is distant far, you have to use sea plane that would cost you around 300-400 US$ per person(round ticket) Villas- We stayed 2 nights in Private Island Villa(shown in this video) that costed me around 685 US$ per night including breakfast and dinner followed by the 2 nights stay at Over Water Villa(shown in Part 2 of maldives series) that costed me around 930 US$ per night included 2 meals. Lunch and evening snacks- This resort was having a variety of 5 different restaurants and bars on island, and we tried different foods at the time of lunch and evening that usually costed us 150 US$ for a meal and drinks for 2 persons. Water sports- Every resort to keep their scale of facilities high give some activities complementary, coco bodu hithi provided us Snorkeling kits for the entire time of out stay, so we tried snorkeling at different spots of the island(you can see in part 2). Apart from it, Jet ski costed us around 190 US$ for 30 minutes. I guess i covered every main expense of our trip !!

Its upto you, if you choose to buy full board booking, then the lunch is included, if you pay for half board, then you just need to sign all the meals you have, and you can pay at the time of checkout. PS: My recommendation is to opt for half board booking. After having a heavy breakfast, you cant eat a full lavish lunch, you can eat as per your appetite and pay accordingly. Full board booking without utilising lunch properly would be a waste. Moreover including lunches in full board are only served from the main restaurant. With half board booking, you can try different restaurants on the island. As per your second query, yes they ask for the extra charges for setting up beach dinner or floating breakfast in your villa !! Drinks are really expensive in every Private Island Villa. If you wanna really get drunk on your vacation, i better advice you to opt for Full Board Package that includes Drinks also !!

Both are amazing at their place, overwater villa gives you the feel of staying everytime over the water and great accessibility to snorkeling anytime of the day with beautiful fishes and peace. And on the other side, island villa particularly of coco bodu hithi has an unmatchable luzury of perfect pool, open air shower and water proof bed on one side and a lavish green path leading to your private beach beds waiting for you to witness beach and waves without any disturbance like we use to get at any other beach !!

For Private Island Villa, i guess it was 685 US$ including breakfast and dinner. This place is the best. I booked this one after going through atleast 25 resorts videos and reviews, this resort is real value for money for a 5* property. Food is good. Service is good. Accessible from airport. Scenic beauty is just wow, your eyes will not get tired of watching it for hours. And you will surely feel on returning back like it was a dream staying there, you would need to see your photos to believe you actually visited this place !!! Enjoy your holidays !

We had to show them our covid negative reports that has to be conducted within 72 hours of time period. Secondly our room was sanitised and left vacant for 24 hours before we checked in. All the staff members of resort were wearing masks. Only 10% of rooms and villas were booked to ensure less guests on island and maintain social distancing. Buffet wasn’t there, resort staff themselves did beautiful plating of dishes and served us. We were free to order anything from and out of menu. In nutshell we didn’t feel even for a moment that COVID-19 exists or not, we completely felt safe during our entire stay.

@@shivrajmhalshekar2138 Yes, on returning back to India, airport authorities ask for covid RT-PCR negative report conducted within a time frame of 72 hours, so you can get this test done from your Maldives resort with an expense of approximately 170 US$. But if you want to avoid this expensive test over there, you can adopt for rapid test at indian airport also that will charge you around 3500 INR and result is issued within 3-4 hours of wait.

Yeah the camera doesn’t completely justify its beauty !!
