Agree. Lee Child is definitely one of the ‘good ones’. What I mean is, there are few writers out there who don’t seem to B.S. an answer to what is probably such a common question: Do you outline or write by the seat of your pants? He doesn’t outline. Simple as that. He likes it that way. He doesn’t seem to have that ‘split-brain’ problem many writers seem to have (count me) about their approach. Or if he has, he seems to have made peace with his method and settled on it. I believe we all eventually arrive at that point. If we keep going.

Lee's books are so readable that I re-read all of them 2 times and am on my third time around. There is always something I must have missed the two times around. Thanks, Lee [James]. No one is better.😊🏴✈♥

I love the line 'Get your retaliation in first.' The baddies are always so, so bad that you are wrapt when he bashes the shit out of them, or shoots them.
