You’d think it’s the murderer’s job to lie and gain people’s trust but Ryan with a gun became so good at hiding his gun and gaining the murderer’s trust so he can just blast them when they least expect him to

Best Murder Round at the End....was so proud.
The way Gavin played the last round was actually quite brilliant. He kept his mouth shut and let Ryan and Trevor think the other was the murderer. He almost got robbed by the knife attack on Ryan that somehow didn't register.
Gavin is getting scarily good as a murderer. That last round was incredible.

I don't think he ever saw Gavin WITH the gun. Ryan was right, Alfredo could have easily walked into the room after Gav knifed the guy with the gun, he didn't know for sure.

Looking Back, Ryan is the most suspicious one whenever he's the murderer.
He instantly asked Trevor where Michael was when he said he had the gun
They all tend to congregate around whoever has the gun, which is why the people with guns get so nervous. Also if you're getting chased, running to the gunner is one of the best options. So there really isnt anything inherently suspicious about wanting to know where the guy with the gun is, just in how you ask/play it off. Also remember we have info that they do not, it's a lot easier to see the play from above than on the field.
N Harwood there's nothing suspicious about until you're the only one asking it, and he only asked when he was the murderer, sure thats something only we knew but, idk he's pretty suspicious when he's the murderer, the only person more suspicious is Geoff, maybe Matt.

Ryan will make obvious hints he's the killer and only a few times people will hear it and they're usually dead (since the dead can listen out better). its hilarious, especially when he said "Michael was" and no one except Michael heard it.
It also easy to recognize that he is the killer based on his reactions. Every round he is the murderer he becomes alot more vocal and alot more paranoid. Like if he is just a normal bystander and hears someone shoot the gun in the distance, he will not react very much, but when he is the murderer he screams "WHOA WHOA WHOA" over and over again. Plus he automatically assumes everyone is talking to him when he is the murderer, even when it's very obvious that they're not talking to him. If you go back and watch all of the murder videos, you can easily tell when it's him if you listen to how much he is talking and if he is yelling alot.
In a perfect world Geoff won by shooting Gavin after saying “remember when you shot me for no reason”

realise that when alfredo said "so its just me and you ryan" and they said yes they both thought each other was the killer while gavin stayed silent, when alfredo thought ryan was attacking him it was actually gavin, then when gavins going after ryan, ryan thinks alfredo is trying to kill him when hes now dead. gavin was full on spec ops.
I know Trevor and Alfredo are Team Same Voice II, but come on... It says Trevor right on the screen, along his face, and Ryan calls him Trevor.
Gavin: "How do you open a window?"
Matt: "You need a weapon to break it."
Gavin: *Thinks, "Oh, I can do that...". Opens window with Matt's corpse and a knife*

TheRevenantLotus it would be a good experiment. But there would be too many flaws due to possible lag if they follow the person who turned into them and they cant exactly go over to the murderers screen and narrate. Still, wouldnt mind seeing an attempt at least.

I was glad that they stopped doing the death noise because usually that completely gives the game away as to who's the killer, but it seems like they forget about it this time.

generic lets play watcher If the new Jester is killed, the person who kills him dies, and the Jester respawns as the role of the person who killed him.
Unless the person who killed him was a Traitor, in which case the Jester just dies.
On paper, this sounds like an ingenious punishment, but when you think about it, this renders the new Jester as basically an Innocent who can't do damage and has to get another Innocent killed to be able to do so.
At that point the Jester might as well not be there.
I guess the v1 Jester won too many games? In any event, the Jester prevents one person from playing normally until he successfully baits someone into killing him, which SEEMS kinda stupid, but....
As an innocent playing with a Jester, I guess it becomes paramount to actually SEE someone kill someone else in order to call a KOS, which should theoretically lower RDMing significantly, as well as prevent randos from coming on the server and messing up other people's games.
If you have a good server to play on, it's basically useless, but if you don't, then it provides some benefit.
This is all speculative, though, since i've never played with a jester.

The Yogscast (Who are friends with the mod author and pretty much dictate how the mod works) just couldn't adapt to the v1 Jester, which results in him winning 90% of the rounds he was in. So the mod author made it easier for them and changed it through several iterations until the Jester is what it is now.

I'll be honest, whenever I saw a GMOD vid from these guys I wouldn't really care cause it felt like they didn't really care about the game in general, either cause they wouldn't learn the mechanics or just straight up didn't care. But these GMOD Gune vids have been amazing. I really wish they play more of it.

A tactic they could do is that they pretend to die and say its Michael or someone and then go silent. They trick everyone that its Michael and they think you are dead. You then play smart and take them out since they dont think your the killer.

I care a lot about not murdering innocents in Trouble in Terrorist Town. Seeing if the traitors can sneakily kill everyone while causing chaos among the innocents is a big part of the thrill of the game. For the innocents, correctly determining who the traitors are and taking them down when you're outgunned is so satisfying. If the innocents decide to murder each other, there's no real penalty. It's on the honor system. (Karma is involved somewhat since your damage output is reduced if you kill innocents too much, but it's not a huge deal, especially when everyone is murdering innocents.)
This game-mode? Fire away. You're not playing on a public server. Special weapons don't exist. It's just a knife, a gun, and a bunch of scared bystanders... and if the gunman decides to kill and guesses wrong? He's penalized and basically unable to even identify the killer if the killer is close. The game-mode itself punishes killing innocents.
Basically, TTT lets you kill innocents, but you really shouldn't, because it is, at its core, a detective game, not a death-match. Murder lets you kill innocents, but you'll screw yourself if you guess wrong, and there's not nearly as much detective work involved.
“You kill an innocent, you get the noodle.”

i agree with you. as funny as the death noises sounded, it kinda just gives the murderer away. but if they see the murderer right next to them and the only thing they can get out is a random sound then i don't really care.
