I was fascinated by his voice years ago by Storybook Love in the movie Princess Bride. I've just recently discovered Willy. I'm 65 & am obsessed. I listen to this, Stand by Me & Storybook Love every night before I go to sleep. I so wish i had known him. He speaks to my gypsy soul.

I find it so amazing that someone so manly, gruff, and imposing (meant as compliments btw), could sing such beautiful, sincere and honest love songs!! I'm not shocked, because he was incredibly talented. I just think it's cool that he could sing ANYTHING, and it would sound beautiful!! It's sad that he's gone.
I agree that he was an immense talent I regret that I never got into him while he was with just discovered him this year I knew of him but never heard anything of his he's great
