- I wonder how Mario got a PhD? WHO GAVE IT TO HIM?!?!
Our favorite Doctor, Dr. Mario, joined Super Smash Bros in Super Smash Bros melee which he was a huge clone of Mario but over time became slightly less of a clone. He also made an appearance in Super Smash Bros Wii U and then of course came to Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
If this video gets 5000 likes, I'll do a comparison between Dr. Mario and Mario as an evolution to see how much they compare over time.

I like to think he's actually swallowing his saliva
Dr. Mario is one of the most slept on characters in ultimate. His down b kills offstage at 40%, he true combos at almost all percentages, his recovery is decent if you incorporate the abilities of down b and directional air-dodging, his back throw is one of the best in the game, his base knockback is incredible and scales really well with percent, his lower jumps allow combos near the ground to be deadly (especially if you string back airs and up airs), and his down air, down b, and back throw are some of the most stylish, cool moves in the game. People, please take doc out for a spin; he's great.

Well said about Dr. Mario. He is one my best characters in the three Super Smash Brothers games that he is in. He's fun to play as, he's very strong, and just an overall great character to play as Smash Brothers.

dr mario is such a cool concept, i wish it used more of his pills in the moves, like his fsmash could be him combining 2 single color pills together and then they explode, maybe even have some randomness added by making him combine with virus at random for extra damage

Um it can’t be more mashing it’s already every second frame for max height and distance
Yes, thats true, in melee to get the maximum height you have to mash the b button 8 times in only 1 second, idk how much you gotta mash on the other games

I wish they made Dr Mario more unique, not just a clone or some sort of echo fighter for Mario.

Dr. Mario can fly with Down-B in Melee I've seen someone do it.
Maybe his Dolphin Emulator runs in 64 fps. If the game is faster his mashing will be treated as slow so maybe he thought that he can't recover with it. The same happens from me.

the pills of dr mario in smash 4 are pretty smaller but in ultimate the pills are bigger now to match with the same size of the pills in melee
