Thank you so much for answering this question. I want a mixing to run in ear monitors to hear when I am singing. The audience gets really loud sometimes. What cables would I need to connect to a mixer to the in ear monitor and active speakers. The mixer would be Europower PMP1680S 1600W The speaker is a Behringer PK115A Active speaker. Thank you very much
Thanks dude, I really appreciate the info. I wanted to connect the turntable to a pre amp mixer to an active speakers (amplifier built in) and sound terrible. Finally corrected the problem, now it sounds great, analog and digital audio. Greetings from Argentina !
I think you helped me out I was thinking of having to add a crossover cuz I have 2 passive subs n 2passive mids and wanted to use the two active for my highs. Though I do like the idea of a three way vrossover lows mids n highs with 3 seperate amps but seems one of my amps is a rockville and has a crossover as well but Ive heard kind of a whimpy amp or needs a preamp which I believe my mixer has so well see what happens this is mainly for small DJ type gigs kind if mix matchet compoments very few big music stores in the area anymore so hard to come up with ideas from pro's.
Just joined a band that has 1680S with Passive speakers. I have a Harbinger 4115 Active Speaker. So question. I could send a line to it out the “MON” output and/or if I had 2 Active speakers, could send L/R Lines out the Main on the front of the 1680?
I'm thinking yes, but not 100 % sure. The active speaker has the power, the laptop just sends out a signal so its worth a try. you're not gonna blow the speaker.
Thanks for the great info. I just subscribed to your Channel. I have a question: I am planning to buy Behringer 1680S. I know that I don't need Powered speakers with it but could you please let me know which speakers are perfectly compatible with it? I would appreciate if you can also give me up to 3 choices: 1. Most Expensive 2. Mid Expensive and 3. Cheap but great set of speakers to choose from. Thank you.
EV speakers are top of the line and very high priced. Carvin, JBL and Peavey are pretty reasonably priced. I use peavey passive speakers and I have had rave reviews from people saying the quality is very good. But it's always best to price shop, some stores or websites may have the same speakers you want for a lesser price.
Can you play a bass guitar directly into a powered speaker, I have a mackie 12 channel mixer but was just curious if you could go direct the powered speaker is Alto 2000w, 1000w continuous ts215 ?
I had a Marantz tube stereo in the past but I sold it. Now 20 years later I wanted to hear that tube sound again. I bought a Nobsound tube amp and it puts out 6.5watts per Channel. This has a nice sound but it does not have the power that I would like. I have active speakers that put out 1000 watts. I hooked them up and it sounded great. Then I seen power + power = destruction. I do have a mixer just like you showed Henyh802. You showed the main out but did not show where to plug it in. Tell me if I really need this mixer or is the wattage small enough to get by. If I do need the mixer where do I plug it in? Thank you
If you are using the active speakers along with The Henyh802, the main out go to the active speaker inputs, and whatever instrument you are using goes into the track inputs on the mixer.
Thank you for getting back to me. I have never used this end of the mixer. I put the lines to the speaker to the main out. I put the lines from the stereo tube amp to the line in to the 2 track. I pushed the 2 track to mix button in and I got sound. I zeroed out the main mix. What do you think of what I did? Am I missing any thing? Now I’m checking it out to see if I lost any of that tube sound.
Can I connect the Stereo RCA line out to my powered mains using an RCA to XLR adaptor cable if it's not tool long of a cable? I want to power my monitors from the mixer but want to mains to get an unpowered signal. I know it's unbalanced, but it the run is under 20', is that not a viable solution?
I have never heard of anyone doing that. I think you should proceed with caution. And contact a sound guy who can tell you whether it's good or bad to do that.
Sir, thanks for the nice video. I have with me Samsung powered / active speakers system that accept signals through blue tooth ONLY. If I buy a non powered mixer of Beheringer or equivalent, how can I transmit audio signals from this mixer to my Samsung speakers?

I have a question
Can we use auxiliary output into input of another powered amplifier

Can you connect powered speakers to line out on mackie subwoofer cr8s-c for Bluetooth use
Can I connect my mixers aux send to another mixers trs mic/xlr input
If I have an active speaker with rca inputs do I need a mixed or can I just use rca to my laptop until I can afford a mixer
I'm thinking yes, but not 100 % sure. The active speaker has the power, the laptop just sends out a signal so its worth a try. you're not gonna blow the speaker.

@@JasonsAcousticWorkshop Thank you so much!
So I can plug a powered sub into the front aux inputs (L&R) of my Behringer 1680S?
If your mixer has an aux out then yes, you can plug in POWERED SUB

Don't know, I have never heard of anyone doing that. It probably could be done but proceed cautiously.

@@Jrobt3223 sounds about right
Why not use the 2000d tape out provided your powered speaker/sub has a volume control?
I'll have to give it a try
Couldn't you also use that tape out to go to another Berhinger head if you wanted?

you need some kind of amp to power the speakers if they are not active speakers
Hey how am I able to connect an external equalizer with only xlr inputs and outputs I’m trying to hook it up to the bherimger pmp 2000d
Unfortunately, this mixer is very limited as to what you can plug in
So that's why my speakers turned on fire
How about connecting a subwoofer to a m200 harbinger
I have never worked with an M200 Harbinger, I'll have to do some research on that product
