Thanos is more powerful than Captain Marvel. (Unless she ends up with plot armour in the MCU, which would be just dumb). ... She is about on par with a normal Thanos without IG, maybe slightly stronger. Her durability is greater than that of Thanos's, but Thanos is just “Stronger”

Hal Jordan is a fearless fighter pilot with sense of humor who takes on any challenge head on, which is exactly what they tell me about Carol Danvers on this video. Besides Carol becomes a member of an intergalactic peacekeeping force... just like Hal.

They already have established arcs; Scarlet Witch going through the loss of her brother and learning to sacrifice what she loves most; Black Widow struggling with her identity as a weapon, and just wants to live a quiet life and have a family, but she knows that she'll never be able to; Okoye struggling with her loyalty between tradition and morality.

I get the whole woman Captain Marvel thing......but being 55 I wish they would have somehow brought out the original and real captain marvel from 1973 or so. The first one that fought Thanos a very long time ago when he first got the cosmic cube. The fact that they (Marvel films) have totally ignored him and pretend he never existed irks me.

KaliN9ne, been hinted it was Jude Law but he’s another character. Given that Marvel has used plots and story lines from very old comics that were written by Shooter and Starlin, I’m guessing they will again. If the black knight shows up it’s a redux from a storyline from 1974 when Thanos got the Cosmic Cube. He got turned to stone in that plot.
