The only thing I hate is that when you catch something on fire, it puts itself out in 5 seconds. In the Original, it never went out. A minor detail, but incredibly annoying once you notice it.
Who else hates that the new one is purely in day time. In the original I loved playing in the dark, nighttime environment bcz it made the game feel creepy.
if it's any consolation, there are screenshots showing it at night time. Not sure why a previously night time mission is during the day (I think one of the screenshots is of this mission as well), but it seems like night time is in the game. How it actually works, I'm not sure
What other games could THQ Nordic have them make? Nordic has a humongous library of intellectual property rights to make new games of many classic franchises. I wonder what will be next?
Didn't they claim they rebuilt this game from the ground up? The graphics are slightly better, but the animations are exactly the same. That camera angle change is a nuisance, too.
It makes more sense for the mayor speech to be in the daytime but the mutant cows worked better at night because of the radioactive glow. Also where's the original music it's gone from the cut scene.
they downgraded it when they changed the telekinesis grab.. it was more fun tossing humans around and smashing them trough objects and walls in the original. but now... now it’s just like in saint row 4 lift....and push...hhhhh.
Never played the first one, had the second one on the original Xbox, never completed it though, got the remake of the first one, finished the story, now back to the original Xbox to finish the second one and then onto the third!
@Daniel j. Milburn a parody of those movies, yes, but it still had a creepy vibe. It's been ages since I've played so I can't remember what it was called but the original came with an old movie on the disk that also had a creepy vibe.

I never really saw DAH as a cartoony, so I can't say I'm a fan of the new look. It lacks the creepiness that the original had.
