    Dan, I think you meant to mention Thomas Edison. A very persistent and creative mind.

    100% agree and there is one ingredient to not forget: Patience, give yourself some time. Nothing is instantaneous! Some days it's a bit more difficult, but be patient, it might be much much easier the next day, so wait for it!

    I don't think i'm failing Dan, my brain just doesn't want to cooperate. I believe i'm just doing too much and I get a flare up, it seems like even small un expected surprises can flare me up and put me back in looking for safety.

    What I've noticed is that every time Friday and the weekend hits, I just forget all about my pains and TMS. I get so out of it I don't watch the videos anymore as I am cured and think I have convinced my brain that we are okay. Until around Tuesday/Wednesday hit and then I get a flare here, a little nausea there and I run back to the videos 😅 I hope I'm on the right track at least

    I do not feel safe. When I am busy the sensations disappear, but I cannot always be busy.

    • @Candiedclouds
      @Candiedclouds 3 месяца назад +1

      The fact that it goes away when busy shows that it’s neuroplastic and that it’s a mind perceiving danger! You don’t need to always have the sensation go away, bring it along with you when you’re not busy… like when watching tv or reading or walking. Allow it to be there and hang out with you and that’s how you show your brain you’re safe.

My Mind/thoughts attempt to say "You've got it wrong, or you're wrong"...keep recognising them as just thoughts & keep trusting the higher perspective/learning...It's all ok, you're ok... repeat, remind, repeat. I learned I need a table sppon of Braggs Apple Cider vinegar every morning with water, and magnesium oil every morning to keep my digestive system in order - I cannot skip this in the morning or stop doing it because then my digestive system suffers. Some physical things need to be done to relieve some physical symptoms.

    • @zatmenat
      @zatmenat 3 месяца назад +3

      Yes Dan, I too would also be very interested if you could answer this question 🙏 about people with ADHD, whose brains produce less dopamine than those without this disorder.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  3 месяца назад +5

      Well, whether someone was diagnosed with ADHD, the concepts apply equally. Perceived danger creates pain or symptoms. Safety is the solution. People with ADHD can recover. Believing ADHD prevents healing just creates unnecessary fear. Dive in. My fast start playlist maps it all out. There is no downside. DansFastStart.com

    Yes, not failing, not failure. It might help to think of a mistake as a miss-take, so "take" it again, if we believe we were failing because we did something we consider wrong, remember that's how learning occurs, slloooowly, look at history, ancient sages and philosophers knew and stated many wise things and we are still not doing them. That's the human way. its a new day, do it again with more wisdom under your belt. A meditation practice (not spiritual, not religious), it gives you the opportunity to be the scientist observer of your thinking, which at first can be yikes, but then is freeing, pain free you.
