I think that is the problem with a few games I bought because of this channel. They seem so extremely fun, but they only work if all the players are creative and funny.
@@gitterrost-4 It's less about being creative and funny but more about just willing to be silly and putting yourself out there. With these types of games, you need to just be a character rather than just yourself. Get into the role of a potential candidate to be the NEXT MAD SCIENTIST.

I was surprised no one really took on the classic auctioneer style of speaking....until Blaire started and it became apparent it wasn’t a British thing. Learned something new today!
Excellent episode. Always fun to have a game where the cast get to show off their improv. Great to see more Ken as his dry humour meshes well with the rest. Also, would love to see a future House Rules with Sully and Tilly as they make for an amazing double act on BGC.
Shark Henry Caville is iconic, He will tell you interesting facts about the witcher universe before eating you whole, He then returns to his underwater palace to paint Warhammer.
No hat AND glasses!! He looks like a completely different man who I've never seen before! If I just saw him at the table with that look without hearing his voice I would've thought it was a total newcomer 😅
I really really like him like that... Something different... more matured, yes, but very pleasing... He's always very well dressed and put together... I like the variety
An always-topless mediocre assassin with the perfect alibi and a voice like butter (who can occasionally do a French accent but doesn’t like to often because it ruins his buttery voice) sounds kinda like my dream man xD I also loved all the auctioneer pitches, would’ve been hard for me to pick a favorite
Honestly I wouldn't have agreed until this video, because honestly he did kinda feel like he was there for the sake of being there before... But he was genuinely amazing in this video, I'll definitely be going back to more of the videos he's in to try and better appreciate his presence
Laurie's Macho Man pitch was absolutely perfect, A+, no notes. I really would have struggled to choose between Laurie and Sullivan in the first round, they were both so good.
"How does box wine make you a good mad scientist?" >look to the side and bite your curled thumb. < Mumbling> "Does he already know about the mind controlling wine? No, no, it must just be a coincidence." "Ahem. Well, it's not like wine can make you any worse at coming up with ideas for new inventions."
Yall have had some bangers lately, loved last week's too, but this is the first one since communopoly so good that I immediately started over from the beginning. More pitch games!
On the back of this episode, you guys *definitely* need to play Pitchstorm! It's a very similar game but pitching movies. I can see it being just as good!
Everyone's talking about Sully and his Magnum ice cream, but why is no one talking about Tilly not grouping "driving" and "uncontrollable gas" together? Her shark car goes SO fast
We need Rosie back for some pitching games. She's so brilliant at them, but they don't seem to have made the transition to physical play. Snake Oil was one of the games that hooked me on this channel, mostly because of her and Sullivan. Would love to see either it or But Wait, There's More make a physical debut!
I, uh... I'm torn between wanting "Tillying" to become a thing for the joke, but also not wanting it to because using anyone's name like that is uncomfortable 😅 And omfg, I don't know if I'm just tired, but "the telenovela was only marketed to fish, who watched it, and every night they cried, and that's how the ocean was formed" made me burst out laughing so uncontrollably that I had to pause the video, THEN manage to recover, before I could even write this 😂 As someone who works at an animation and video game dev studio, watching Tilly "interview" for a game designer position by just pitching a game idea was hilarious 😂That's... not quite how interviews work, Tilly; that's how Kickstarter works. Hey, hey! There will be no David Tennant bashing in my subscription box! He's the best modern Doctor and I will hear no arguments to the contrary! 😅 (By the way, I *am* still keeping track of BGC scores for the year. Ken has played 4 games and has a 100% success rate, making him currently in the lead. Unless you count Izzy, who also has a 100% success rate -- but she's only played 1 game this year 😁. On the other side, Tempest and TomSka have both played 5 games each and have a 100% loss rate... sorry, boys. But if we limit the stats to "people who have played at least 5 games", Holly is currently in the lead with 43.75% success!)
Here the good and the bad things with games like these. Bad - they aren’t really for anyone, if your group of friends are not the creative type who’d be willing to put the effort into acting out the role they’re put into, it just becomes so very dull. Good - these types of games are perfect for the amazing member of BGC, because they play out their roles, in this case an employee looking to pitch themselves for the job, so very perfectly!
Haven't even watched the video, and I feel like I need to comment. Amongst all the comedic judging card games that have come out, Funemployed is my unabashed favorite. It can be as clean or as filthy as you'd like, it's super easy to play, and it's incredibly fun. Every time we play, we play until the cards are gone. We also like to play (apply) without looking at our hand ahead of time. Flip a card, and come up with something quick.
"These cats are some of the best cats I've ever hallucinated" deserves a plaque
geniunely though you said it deserved a plague for a moment and was rather confused

To be honest, even if you're not a funny person, the game often writes the jokes for itself.

9:02 The look on Tilly's face when she realizes she has to come up with a new impression after Laurie already did Macho Man Randy Savage.
what if you guys did a House Rule with this but instead of getting hired you tried to get fired,
That'd be easy with the cards 😂 but it'd be so funny too
pleeeeease!!

Sully could have gone with magnum as a gun, or as condoms, but no, my man went with covered in icecream 😂
Also, I love how he didn't just forget, but he considered each option... and still went for ice-cream
Laurie pointing out that he had James Bond and chose a kinky, dairy-living, bomb defusal expert instead was priceless
I just like that he's wearing a red and white striped top that makes him look like a 1940s-50s ice cream man XD it's so fitting

Blair has grown so much in improv/roleplaying since this channel started it’s really cool to see :)
I think "I can't help you if you don't know things" is my new social media stock response.
ken's pitch for the auctioneer was simply brilliant

I just noticed that recently 😂
Got to love Sully pitches. Ever since the very beginning, pitching the Pain Ladder in Snake Oil - Genius!
Jesus that Michael Caine impression was amazing
Not all heroes wear capes-but all video game designers do.
Blair in the Thumbnail is giving me Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman vibes and I am here for it.
Everything from Sully's pitch at 32:20 had me deceased.
In the second round, Sullivan's cards described Roger Moore's Bond and Blair's described Daniel Craig's 🤣
The Coogan and Brydon Michael Caine bit was out-of-this-world. 10/10
