  • Elizabeth "Lizzy" Patricia Musi, age 33, from Statesville, North Carolina, passed away on June 28, 2024, with her family by her side. Lizzy was born and raised in Carteret, New Jersey, where she graduated from Carteret High School. From a very young age, she was introduced to the thrilling world of drag racing. Her father, Pat Musi, a renowned engine builder and professional race car driver, was her inspiration. Lizzy attended all her father's races, which sparked a deep passion for the sport. By the age of eight, she was already driving her own junior dragster.
    As Lizzy grew older, her racing career advanced significantly. She began racing in the PDRA Top Sportsman category before moving on to the PDRA Pro Nitrous. She stepped into Frank Brandao's Dodge Dart, a car that had won many national events, and became the first woman to win a Pro Nitrous race. Her achievements didn't stop there. Lizzy gained international fame by competing in the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings TV series.
