In this video, my primary focus is finding zander in new waters. Fishing the tip is a valuable approach for tracking down zander, and recognizing subtle indications on the tip can significantly enhance your chances of successfully discovering and catching them. Join me as I share my approach and provide some top tips for locating zander in unfamiliar locations.
That was a brilliant vid
I’ve fished dead’s for zeds for a good couple of decades and you’ve given some good tips there I normally fish canals for them midlands had them into double and on lures my fave fish Shame about electro fishing
Thank for sharing 👍🏼🍺tight lines 🎣
Thanks for the kind words mate. Also my favorite species, i Dont really fish for anything else from October till March.
@@fishingmadmidlandslad8536 I pretty much fish for them all year round very elusive since John Ellis started killing them
There’s a big feature on the Zander cull in the angling times coming up week ending 17th this month exclusive info my pal done lot of work to stop the cull i supplied the pics
Who's John Ellis ?
@@eldoncollins7254 he’s the head of fishing for the canal and rivers trust a true zander killer my friend
That's a cracking idea with the way you tie your traces mate. Like you point out, I am forever wasting 12-18 inches of wire after landing fish or trolleys.
Great Video, glad to see you carrying on the great Brum tradition of Zander angling, remember working with Ray Armstrong many moons ago, great bloke and angler. 👌🎣🎣💚
Zander and bleak go together like peas and carrots. Nice video mate, I'll be using some of those tips as Zander are somewhat of an enigma to me.
Nice video mate.. i fish that area for zed.. started using single circle hooks for zed a few seasons ago.. definitely improved hookup rate.. use them for pike now.. 100% better and kinder to fish.. nets and hands.. tight lines.. 👌
Cracking fish matey. I’ve never had a go at fishing for zander, but I’ve just kitted myself out and I’m putting in some sessions in the coming weeks. You’ve inspired me, great video and some great tips. Keep them coming 🎣
Thanks dude and tight lines 👌
Nicely produced and very helpfull! 🙏
Great video and tips
Keep them coming.
Inspirational video and a fantastic fish to go with it - well done on your PB. I'm going to follow your guidance on my very first target for Zander next week.
Thanks mate and good luck to you, hope you bag a few 🙌
Just subscribed, very informative video. No Zander in my area but they are well worth travelling for. Thanks.
Karin kassar is the voice unbelievable, beautiful voice.
That was interesting, really enjoyed that and very informative. Like the idea of the trace, might be an idea to use a titanium lure trace for the uptrace then, i’ll look into that.Tight lines
Great video. Just how I fish the Trent for Zander here in Newark!!
Zander is definitely THE hardest river fish to catch. Mostly because the realization demands, once it comes.
And you can't react on first nibbles, because it is a sure miss. Also, if you let it pull for too long once it starts going away, it's a miss.
Well done rob cracking zander that 👌
Well done buddy. 👏 👏 👏 👏 paid off in the end.
Thanks for sharing. Great vid.
Great stuff mate. Worth the graft!!
Brilliant video brother.
Thanks dude 👌
Feeder lead is a good idea. I usually toss a parcels of filets into water, but this is probably better.
Finner hook observation is also spot on. Only one thing is off, for me. The treble is too much.
Sea fish baits are also no no here in Serbia.
Circle hook is no good. Catastrophic.
Mega mate!
Mega fish
Bonjour. Quel modèle de canne vous utilisez. C'est une canne feeder ? Merci d'avance.
Great fish and video, well done.
How do you crimp that top hook the way you did mate great idea that
As you’ve extended the trace with braid won’t it take longer to get a notification on your rod as the fish can swim nearly 2-3 foot in each direction before coming into contact with the lead. With a Small roach and a pike could get deep hooked, have you had many ?
This doesnt happen as the rig is running and not fixed, i dont get any deep hooked fish as i always hit bites straight away as soon as i see indication on the tip.
Sound tips.
Like it bro .. but no silicone tube on that snap link no ?? Nothing to lock that latch down ??
They're pretty much self-locking, doesnt really need any silicone on but you can do so for piece of mind.
Bonjour c est qu'elle mondel votre canne merci...
