Freediving World Championships 73m FIM - Amber Bourke

My 73m FIM dive at the 2017 freediving world championships. Thanks to Diveye this is the first time in 6 years of freediving I got to watch a video of one of my dives from start to finish. All I can say is wow, there is a lot I can work on... Overall this was my best dive at the competition though. I really enjoy free immersion and I hope I can improve in this discipline in the future.

Why do don't dive whit googles ?

The rules state you have to take all your facial equipment off when you finish the dive. If I don't wear a goggles/mask it's one less thing I have to worry about when I surface.

Your mammalian dive reflex also works better when water is touching your face.
