Flipper and Lopaka is an Australian animated series based on the world famous dolphin, Flipper. Flipper saves a young Polynesian boy, Lopaka, from drowning. Lopaka discovers that he has the ability to swim like a fish and talk to the animals. The pair have many adventures in the lost city of Quetzo.

the animation that we have today is fuckin godly. even he cheapest stuff we have today will make a person from the 90's drop to the floor in amazement. And the stuff that isnt cheaply animated? gorgeous in every way possible. My backup being the movie Coco, a gorgeously animated 3d film with large amounts of effort put into it, and you call stuff today cheaply animated? nice
@@sand8375 calm down buddy. He's not talking about Disney movies, he's talking about kids shows that don't look as good as the hand drawn stuff we had as kids.
Tbh, this show looks more cheaply-animated and garbage-y than stuff we have today. Have you actually ever compared todays shows like Over the Garden Wall, GF, Avatar, SvTFoE, Dragon Prince with something like He-Man, Rainbow Brite, and other older shows? Because by comparison older ones look like a complete mess in terms of animation and visuals. Not to mention that animated shows get higher budget and more mature treatment nowaday, if you look at your favourire shows from the past they mostly were meant for kids and were treated as such. Writing today is especially great. But no we're going to complain about nostalgia and how everything before cgi and flesh was superior and better in every way without taking pink-coloured glasses off.
Not to insult Flipper and Lopaka though, this show is entertaining at least. But come on, you hardly can call this a good tv show hand-drawn animation...

Andrew Shaw Yes there is! The voice actor for Lopaka in season 3 is named Carter Hayden. He also plays Noah, Ennui, and Spud in Total Drama, Buttsquat in Camp Lakebottom, Boof in Erky Perky, Marty Pascal in House of Yes, and KC in Treed Murry. I think he should play Rex and Mike in Subway Surfers or maybe Dusk Shine in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
+Mackenzie Wachter the first season just has flipper and Lopaka, the second has the scientists, there is no third, it even says on the official site:

There is a third, it's on RUclips and you can also look the show up on Wikipedia. The official website has also only the first two seasons of Tabaluga listed while there's also a third one, and for Blink Bill it only lists the animated movie from 1992 but neither one of the three seasons produced for the series.

Polynesian is what the peoples in Flipper and Lopaka are and that is what the Hawaiians are.
