    We'll share with you what you should be looking for and we also touched on the limitations of no-code app builders so you're fully aware before making a decision.

      Hi Adrian, i want to create an app with similar capability to tinder but not for dating. I want it to be accessable on mobile and on computers. Would bubble be the best option? From what I understand it have best capabilty for scaling-up as well when your user base increases.

      @@ishy2217 Bubble would be a good start if you're looking to build a mobile responsive web application. Depending on your idea, I would probably suggest most people to start there and worry about mobile app later. Unless your idea is mobile focused only. I don't have a lot of context here though so hope this small little advise help.

      I know what I want, I know it's marketable and there is at least tens of thousands of potential users if not hundreds of thousands. My problem is I don't want to pay a monthly fee to another company for assisting me in creation, I want to develope it myself. I have considered python as I have been familiar in the past with it at a beginner level. I am not 100% looking for a no code app builder but it would be easier. It is a simple app that will utilize a specialized calculator (very simple equation), a notepad, calendar/reminders, and recipes. I mainly want to build it for myself, if I'm the only one who ever uses it, I'm okay with that. But I do intend on sharing it in groups that I believe could use it.

    I'm thinking about building a mobile app for LED lamps I'm making, so that they can be controlled via Bluetooth smartphone connection. I don't know any coding. Would these no-code app builders be capable of making a simple app with various sliders and buttons to control the LED brightness, colours, pre-programmed patterns etc. I'm not sure if it's relevant but the hardware in the lamp will be a BLE enabled microcontroller and the code to control the LEDs will be in the Arduino programming language (similar to C++).

      For your situation, it might be quite complex and will require coding to make it work. We've built an app that controls an IOT device with BLE before but that is not using no-code app builders.

    Good video. But, why DraftBit vs Flutter Flow? A quick watch of several reviews and almost all go for FF. Why do you particularly lean to DB vs FF? I see that FF has better pricing for the features you get and DB is super new in comparison and a much smaller community which is valuable if you're non tech. Finally, the AI feature on FF could help as a non tech. I ask because I am getting close to this stage.

    I'm looking for 2 apps with same website. 1 app for workers and 1 app for customers. Example Uber, Lyft, Doordash ect. How should I start? I want everything to be integrated. If customer books online, it shows up on workers app. If customer books on app then it will show in workers app. Plus shows up in my admin website. Got any ideas?

      Don't think i'll be able to say whether it's too hard for someone to learn these tools as I don't have much context without knowing you personally.
      But some of these tools definitely have quite a learning curve especially for non-techies.
      You can always try it out to see if it is too hard for you.
      If yes, perhaps getting a no-code developer to help you with the tools can be a great way to speed things up.

    How would Draftbit do at creating a rideshare app similar to Uber and Lyft?

    • @adrianchinghc
      @adrianchinghc  Год назад

      The early prototype shouldn't be a big issue for POC. But as you scale, you'll probably be better off exporting the code and work on custom coding rather than no code as rideshare apps can be quite complex.

    I can see your vengeance on no code because u come from the coding platform.
    Everything comes with certain limitations and no code has to and people use that will sure know that limitations.
    Just blaming those limitations and saying it's bad. It's not a great way.

    Would you recommend learning to code yourself to build an MVP?
    Some of these builders like Bubble and Draftbit seem to high a steep learning curve, so much so that I’m thinking I can spend 6 months learning full stack to build something myself? Doesn’t have to be perfect but would probably be better to learn those skills for the future as well

    • @adrianchinghc
      @adrianchinghc  Год назад +1

      Ultimately, it depends on what you really want and your current situation.
      Learning a new skill is always good. It helps you understand your product better too.
      A few questions that might help you decide:
      1. Does knowing how to code help you in your business/career?
      2. Learning to code is going to be time consuming. Even more so if technical skills like coding is hard to grasp for some. Do you mind investing that much time?
      3. Speed to market is also another concern here. Is your product idea going to be time sensitive?
      1 advantage of knowing how to code is that it can help you use these no-code tools even better and faster.
      But sometimes it also leads to people not shipping or launching.
      No-code helps us to launch fast and iterate quickly without the need to code.
      Hope this helps!

      I believe that is free tier so there'll probably come a point where you'll need to upgrade and go for the paid plan once you publish your app live. But this video isn't really about these app builders pricing. More on the features, functionality and my criteria for picking the right app builder. 😁
