Not surprised this show is getting cancelled. It's wholesome, it's diverse, and there aren't any raunchy sex scenes, nude scenes or foul language. This show was actually a HUGE breath of fresh air for people like me who like to watch a show every once in a while without having to be subjected to raunchy sex and nudity throughout the show. :-/

Zaneta Smith The cancellation is due to low viewership ratings. It is the reason the show moved from Mondays at 10 pm to Saturdays at 10 pm.
I agree! At first I didn't like their relationship all that much, but after a few episodes I started to like their little love/hate relationship. There was definitely some tension in this scene! I'm sad this show is getting cancelled. It was actually pretty interesting. I was JUST starting to get into the story line and the characters. Imo they cancel shows way too quickly these days. Don't they know that some shows don't really pick up or get "good" until after some episodes...or even a couple of seasons??

zankunox, Rosaline and Benvolio found Frair who pretended to be dead, then threatened him to get the info, Princess Isabella went to Venice to see the Doge AKA the Pig, Prince Escalus mad because he can't go after Rosaline, the end is the shocker, count Paris looking for Rosaline, the Episode was LIT.

Of course when I finally find a show that I like it gets cancelled. ABC please don't do this to me. I mostly blame the producers for the show lacking viewers. Bringing this show out in the summer was their biggest mistake. This show should have debuted in the fall OR spring. In the summer too many people are only interested in new action movies or t.v. shows that revolve around the sun and going to beaches. Anything that resembles a glimpse of summer vacation. It seems to me that most successful shows like Supernatural in their 13th season, Criminal Minds in their 13th season, How I met your mother (ended after 9 seasons), all premiered in the fall. Shonda Rimes' Grey's premiered in the spring and its been on since '05. I just wished they would have debuted in the fall im sure this show wouldnt have been canceled.
I love them so much. One season and 7 episodes aren't enough. There's so much natural chemistry and sexual tension between Benvolio and Rosaline. I need another season. 😭😭
I can't. I can't. I won't. I shan't. I needed more of them this episode. I didn't give a fuck about Isabella and the Doge. Though I was intrigued by her and the blonde woman. There's so much in this show to show. Seven episodes is not enough. Season TWO PLEASE.

Such a great scene - and so well played by both actors. The show has done an excellent job of letting their relationship grow slowly over time. I'm really disappointed that the show has been cancelled. (If they had a show that focused on these two characters I think it would go through the roof!)
I LOVED this. Too bad we won't get to see their relationship progress much further since there's only 2 episodes left. :(

Can they just admit that they love each other already? There's only a few episodes left! I think we deserve some proper closure. It's not too late for rewrites or re-shoots.
Shame, shame, SHAME on ABC for not marketing this show worth a damn, showing that they had no faith in it from the beginning. What a disappointment. This show is wonderful. And Rosvolio are EVERYTHING.

So much Rosvolio goodness this episode. Rosaline and Benvolio are the best!!!! ABC did nothing to promote this show. This show deserved a chance to find its footing and grow its audience. I will be forever bitter that we won't get a season two and know what else was in store for Rosaline, Benvolio and all the other interesting characters on this show. Each episode was better than the next....
I love and miss this show. I keep watching the first season over and over and over and over and over. I’m writing ABC in Burbank, CA to see if I can buy episodes of season 2.

It’s 2023 and people are crazy about Bridgertons. If this show could be renewed and promoted properly I have no doubt it would be as successful as Bridgertons. It had and has a great potential.
