I actually like the look of the pumpkin. It gives me an Alice In Wonderland vibe and I really like it. Homemade rustic DIY’s are awesome because you’re not going for perfection but for your personal stamp. Love your platform and whatever you put out is awesome because your vibe is refreshing

I love how you actually just wear your loungewear to lounge around the house and then when it’s time to go outside in public, you change into clothes that are appropriate for the public (even just to do everyday errands like grocery shopping) and look so cute and effortless. I understand that for some people, it’s a mental health issue that prevents them from taking extra effort or maybe they are just in an extremely busy season of their life like short-staffed at work or new mom, etc. and that’s perfectly ok. But for others who might benefit from the “pick me up” of getting dressed up in a simple way with minimal effort, you demonstrated that it’s really quite easy to achieve. Thank you.

My fourth grade students freaked themselves out multiple times with the severe thunderstorms we had this week thanks to the heat (even with me reminding them why the thunderstorms happen and that they’re super common in Virginia in the summer). As a big history nerd, and since I teach Virginia history to my 9-year-olds, my best friend, who also teaches fourth grade, and I have decided to spend several weekends this school year visiting as many historical sites in Virginia as we can, starting with the presidents’ houses (Mt Vernon, Monticello, etc). I’m also looking forward to apple picking this autumn!
As a cancerian I totally get the home body! Where I’m at it too hot also 😂 and I work from home and am in 98% of the time! I love all your videos! Also just to say maybe not just your favs to go to but love seeing you walk around and the whole aesthetic of it! And yes coffee videos ☕️

Hi Rachell, I don't know if you will read this, but I had a fern once and I put it in a place where there wasn't enough light. Back then I did not know what I was doing, so I died. Don't know if it was the lighting, the lack of water or too much? Usually I see them outdoors where they get a lot of sun on the porch and they thrive. Don't know if those were fresh from the florist. However, ferns are delicate.
I have an electric percolator for hot coffee and a Toddy cold brew system which is good cor straight coffee and making a concentrate. If you have done it yet, Eastern Market will be a thing to do more than once and you should enjoy it. Saturdays and Sundays are good for vendors outside but there are food vendors inside as well. There is a fun place on 8th SE (the entrance on the alley) called The Betsy that I think you would enjoy.
I didn't measure anything but I hope it works for you - lemon - basil - olive oil - chili crunch - honey - minced garlic - salt & pepper I think that was it. Just mixed it together and kinda fried it in the pan 🙈
