Crag 2018 Nestle Video

This is the story of how local community members prevented Nestlé from bottling and selling public spring water in the Columbia Gorge. For nearly 10 years Crag helped community groups use land use laws to challenge this project, but we realized that these challenges would likely not be enough to stop the project. Crag then helped Hood River County residents draft and file a county ballot measure to prevent commercial bottled water production and to protect water resources. The measure passed by a landslide, with 68% of the vote.
