To be totally honest I haven't really posed it much since this review, but it still holds it's pose on my shelf completely fine and checking them they're still pretty much fine.
@@Payinku Good to know, that's completely fine by me since I'm never really planning on playing around with it too much. I'll definitely change its pose a few times, but it's gonna mainly be a shelf display for me. Thanks for the quick response.
The type of joint they use can definitely get worn out easily if you play with it a lot, but as long as you're not too rough on them they should last alright.
Man, X deserves way more love, especially from bandai, at least reprint the kits you've already made geez. But anyway What are your thoughts on the Double X? I've heard the MG is pretty excellent, at least it has color separated heat sinks lol, not to say the HG is bad, but it definitely needed paint.
I mean look at the front its so detailed just u know it says its an old kit if this kit gets revived people might give this much better kit also that golden stickers for cannon can easily be replaced with golden parts although i think skickers looks better but that chest is definetly awesome and those arms
Personally I wouldn't say a kit from 2013 is old, I Think if they were going to update the kit, copying the satellite cannon from the MG would be the best choice.
@@Payinku agreed about copying from mg or atleast the system of how it works in transfornation but after 2013 many things have changed and standards for each part has also changed if old protagonist kits get a revive or reconstruction in the new standards then the heavy reliance on tools and supplies won't appeal to newer modelers atleast they should redesign the head construction i like the new entry grade head design even if stickers are applied in the entry grade head it still looks great and painting is much easier and i guess the leg seam lines can be hidden or be made less noticeable with current technology
I don't think the seams are that bad honestly, the only one's that are really noticeable are the very bottom of the shins and even then they're fairly small, I've seen far worse at least.
in all honesty, the only parts of the double X's design i like is the chest and head, the rest of it is a little too much. base X is otherwise a much better design, i think
nice review, also nice paint job with the kit, looks awesome
After War Gundam X is actually my personal favorite Mobile Suit Gundam series.
i wish they make a rg double x that will ve awesome imagine a plated part for the panels
Two years later, how's the hinges doing? I've been planning on buying this kit ever since my last rewatch of X.

I really want this kit, but im worried, do the solar panels on yours get unbearably loose? Or is it just fine?

@@Payinku Thanks! I do dread C clips but this puts me at ease

While this kit is properly detailed but needs a reconstruction for those seamlines

Man, the limbs are the best part, I actually prefer the regular X's chest.
@@Payinku I'm just not a fan of the fins that accordian open.
