when you rounded the corners 1:54 you used 2 point arc tool, after setting the second point you double clicked it and corner was erased, it's not documented feature or something like that? where did you find this?
Hello All, and if I could chime in. This was introduced with S-UP 16, as well as rotated rectangle tool, circumcised polygons and extra arc tools. It will cut the other corners with a double left click.
great tutorial, can you show us how to do something with multiple textures? For example a soda can which has a bare metal texture on the top and bottom but a label texture on the side. How would I position the label texture and metal texture on the unwrapped surfaces and then combine it into a single texture?
Why not just select the entire curved face with double-click and mark the seam? Near instantaneous. Is seam marking not working with pre-selected edges?
Any tips on the side of the mattress? The perfectionist in me was bothered by how it was all nifty and nice on top but the side was messed up. Thanks for the tutorials, I learn about more extensions from your videos that I didn't even know I needed, heh heh...
why does it look so bad...the texture does not follow the sides...what is the point of all this hassle if it can not at least match the properties of roadkill or even tig's painter?
Awesome!

Not sure where I found this, I guess by trial and error. It only works if the points of the arc are tangent to the corner being replaced.

STDrepository you only need one UV map and then paint the different materials using Substance Painter.
Yes, you did the uvmapping, but on the thin-sides you still can't see the uvmapping application correctly?
strange to see the result like this .....
Yeah, one train why I quit SketchUp and moved to Blender.

Anyone use this plug for skp > UE4? Would it be an efficient workflow?
How to i download this uv map plugin?
I'm not sure it was ever released. You might ask your question on sketchucation.com
if i would want the thick of the bed mapped vertically, how can we do it? put that part in other material?
Ben Tal you'd just rotate the uv map 90 degrees

I'm sorry, but that particular mapping would take only seconds using FredoTools' ThruPaint
Yep. Blender too. I don't think it's still available, though I'm not sure.
