guys I have been watching these videos for 14 hours straight, I think I have become hooked 😅
I have searched for my baseline for a while. Finally I got my hands on Ichimoku indicator and started to use baseline from there, nothing else. Also compared different types of line indicators to see which one gets close to it. I finally got it by myself. I was so proud. And now I just watched this video and I am speechless. Anyway let's move to the next piece of puzzle. I love this game. It is so addicive. Love your channel VP. You are a great intelligent Educator. Keep them coming mate.
I've watched many traders and I'm surprised to find that I'm late to find your channel but that enables me to say you are very different from the rest.

As a beginner trader, i really appreciate how vp laid out the whole lesson from start til now. discipline is hard to build through trading as a beginner and being eager to jump in. but with building your own algo, it teaches you that discipline even before jumping into actual trades which is a big plus for me as im just 6 months in. lol ive been using the kijun-sen as my baseline ever since.
and what i really love about making a personal algo is basically having an old car. it does the job well getting you from point a to b but give that car to someone else, they cant drive it the way you do because it has all these little quirks you need to figure out. its just how its tailored to you instead of using another algo say the ichimoku as it isn't your also you can't maximize all the wins and mitigating the loses. just a small opinion i wanted to share
The knowledge that your putting out is incredible! I have a friend of mine who got me into FX trading and all he uses is support and resistance lines, stochastics, RSI etc. and he has lost thousands (some of my money too)! Thank you for all of this

God, I love this channel! This is like learning to build your own hot rod! Seriously though if you just wandered in, do yourself a favor set aside a weekend to go watch all the past videos. You will see this from a different angle. Sort of like rewatching the movie 'US' or the the original Shining. You get more out of it with multiple viewings!

Awesome vid, I just started using ichimoku and began my own process of elimination yesterday. First thing I got rid of was the clouds.
Just finished my 3rd time watching all videos, main reason I'm doing that is to make sure im not leaving any piece of data,, the time i saved (thanks to VP) on technical and fundamental analysis, I think every one should watch again, if not every video, start with blue , green, white, then yellow

How funny! For some weird reason I have been using the 34 EMA as my baseline the whole time and now I realize that the Kijun-Sen provides almost identical results :^D Thank you very much for your great content! I have learnt so much from you already! Cheers!
Why I didnt see this video a couple of years ago!I got so frustrated of false signals and just wanted to trade smart money, i tried everything! And only recently I did just that shown in a video all by myself, just looking at that ichimoku mess, i saw that line stand out and damn this works, my trading wins gone up immediately, eliminating a 90 percent of bad trades! But I also use lead 2 line for support and resistance zones and lagging span for some cross overs in combination of timeframes and some indicators for comfirming. Great video!

I like how he gives subtle hints. Put just a little work into it and bam. I’ve been back testing all sorts of indicators for years and it has always seemed like it would be better to flip a coin. I found VP by chance last week and I’m finally ready to put real money to work.

Great content as always VP. As a young Padawan I've been trying Ichimoku combined with Renko charts, it is amazing; I use the conversion and base line for confirmation, and to detect when the market is ranging.
It's funny because right after you dropped the baseline video I remembered that in one of your older videos you answered a question about ichimoku not being a part of the dirty dozen and you said parts of Ichimoku were really good and I immediately thought about using the kijun sen as a baseline; needless to say it felt so good watching this one.

I was consistent with the standar Ichimoku, but Now I only use Tekan-sen as baseline, and kijun-sen as exit indicator for the 50 % second order and tekan sen as exit for the other 50%. Works even better.

@@gqmaaa backtest it fam, for more validation watch no nonsense's crossover video there issa better way, ithink its titled so u use the 20MA AND 50MA with the Kijun sen base line that should be simple trading for just in case add the 200MA so u know what trend u r in for safe trading, if u know all this my bad, happy trading famz

-Bro VP just uncovered his "ex" baseline witch is kijun-sen from ichimoku, give it a shot that shit is LIT!. I was like "dang this kid is overreacting" but figured still need to give it a shot. Plugged it in straight when I came back home and well.....hm.... I was shocked of my tits, literally loved it, and today when I'm finally watching this video I already have another baseline as my daily driver witch is absolutely mind blowing for me.
You are the man! great information as always. The knowledge you are sharing with people is substantial, keep the great work up! To be honest not a lot of people would put amount of time that is necessary to figure all of this shit out on their own. You are cutting like 100's if not 1000's of hours worth of work for some of us. Having a good baseline to correlate with the other pieces of my algorithm is a golden key! Things are magically falling together now. Even though I know I'm not using the "best" indicators out there, what I have now is way better than how I traded a year ago. Thanks Patrick!
