Hello po Doc. I have pterygium on both eyes kasi,nasa may outer line na sya ng iris. My opta prescribed 2 eye drops (lubricant & steroid) before pero di na ako nakabalik sa kanya after maubos nung steroid drops,so yung artificial tear eyedrop na lang gamit ko. Sapat na po ba yun para maiwasang kumalat ung pterygium? And ok ba kahit any brand of eye lubricant drops? Looking forward sa sagot nyo po, hopefully mabasa nyo to. Thank you🙂
PS: dextran 70+ Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose eye drops po kasi yung prescribed by the Dr na gamit ko nung una, but nung halos no available stocks sa pharmacies near me, I tried other brands like eyemo and lacryl, mejo sumakit yung mata ko. May mairerecommend po ba kayong eye drops eye lubricant especially para sa may pterygium? Thank you! 🙂

Hindi po matatanggal ng eyedrops ang pterygium. Kinakayod po yan talaga. Preventive lang po sa irritation ang drops.
