Our Hack Attack pitching machine wheel melted in heat

The adhesive that holds our Hack Attack pitching machine wheel together melted approximately 90 degrees outside at about noon. The compounding factor is that it was stored in the car before hand for about 1.5 hours (10AM-1130AM) while I was setting up. It was no doubt was hotter than 90 in the car.
I'd recommend using an EZ up over the unit on hot days. Marketing gives you the impression the wheels will be fine in heat.

And how old was the unit itself?

I do not know as I purchased it used. I needed to upgrade it to have the horizontal control, which means is pretty darn old.

90 degrees in the car for 90 minutes is at least 130 degrees. Might as well have put the wheels in your oven...
