@@KCohere33 I wonder if she's what I refer to as "fun". Some people are addicted to dysfunctional partners, relationships and the emotional rollercoaster.
@league-of-shadows well in this case, she got evidence. What she didn't expect is that she was already a terrible person to begin with, and her husband is a doormat.
Story one: dammit Noah. The term simp is generally incel bullshit over a man treating his woman well but then there are THESE guys. Dude. She doesn’t love you. LEAVE FFS
I fortunately had friend in similar situation, only the wife was using "ployamory" as an excuse; it's not poly if one partner is continually breaking the rules and boundaries set in place for the relationship. At the end of the day though my friend is an autonomous adult that needs to make her own decisions and all I could do was tell her that what was going on wasn't right and my door was always open should she need help. A year later I got a call from her that they were divorcing and I had wine at the ready. You can't help people that don't see the problem no matter what tou tell them, all you can do is give them a safe place to land when they finally come out of the fog.
OP has the same values as me. I literally have no relationship or connection to you if I find out you are cheating. Every person who finds out they've been cheated on would rather be told than to find out. Shows who truly care about you and respect your well being
S1 now I feel like i need to find these forums just because what?! This is not my brand of feminism. Using a man to climb a corporate ladder is very antithetical to it😒
Story 2: OP is expected to roll over and open his wallet, but as soon as he stands up against his family for their bullying they lose it, they’re telling him he’s selfish, harassing him, clearly favour OPs brother, don’t care about OPs feelings at all, only care about OPs money. Just a depressing story but OP needs to cut contact with that toxic bunch, maybe for a few months, maybe a few years, maybe permanently, but he needs to stay away from that entire disgusting bunch.
Ep 3 I’m sorry but “saying things in the moment you don’t mean” that’s not good either. He’s shocked his daughter thinks he thinks she’s a bad person but he quite literally called her that to her face…. That man needs to work on that and I feel like the daughter need to learn that that isn’t okay. I feel like it’s just as bad to raise someone thinking they can say whatever when they are mad and if they just say sorry it’s cool…. No it’s not cool. He called the child he’s raised a bad person…. Even when I’ve done waaaaaaay person my parent never did such a thing.
He also needs to learn that his daughter's consent is not a commodity she should just hand out to be seen as nice. He is seriously setting her up to be abused in future relationships.
Yeah, it reads like an incel/red-pill/MRM forum fantasy about "the horrors of feminism". This sort of story is plausible as the output of garden-variety sociopathy that women are equally capable of (though not generally equally empowered\safe from consequences in), but it's much harder to believe that there is a sizeable online community organized around operationalizing misandry in this way.
On the first story, the one thing I need to point out is OP was so surprised by the super. Anti cheating person being a cheater and let me tell you from personal experience and from seeing a lot of stories once I had personal experience, that is usually just a smokescreen. Cheaters tend to be the most verbally can actively anti cheater out of anyone, because it puts the appearance that they would never do it on them.
The story of OP being a new mother and her useless husband messing up every single chore, leaving her freshly pumped milk out overnight, letting baby clothing get destroyed by never cleaning them, and essentially ignoring actually helping bring up HIS child, that’s painful to listen to. OP is a new mother having to do twice the amount of work because her husband keeps “accidentally” messing up, then claims he’s too tired to fix the “mistakes” he’s created, yet somehow has time to game and stream, whilst OP doesn’t get any time at all, she’s drowning. OP, if he doesn’t start pulling his weight as a father once you’ve hired a cleaner then you’ll know the answer, that he isn’t interested in helping or needs to go see someone about mental health, he can’t keep neglecting basic duties and fatherhood. If he doesn’t improve I’d honestly walk, go stay with your parents, get divorced.
Story 1: let us all remember before taking the torch and pitchfork up on someone else's behalf: at the end of the day, someone else's life, relationships, etc, are their own to either ruin or fix as they so choose. It may seem like the world would be a better place if certain people got the occasional slap, but it will only make the world better for a few minutes and make your hand hurt.
That “feminism” forum is extremely toxic and straight up INSANE, just the opposite side from Andrew Tate, Jesus. What makes me extremely disappointed and full of rage is Noah just… forgiving her? Begging her to stay? Brother, you deserve so, so much better, you shouldn’t settle for a woman who will happily cheat on you without a care in the world!
Sometimes when a covert narcissist suddenly drops the act, it looks like a mental breakdown. I thought my mom was having some sort of mental break when she SUDDENLY started being rude and callous to me, after having been supportive and kind for years. Turns out she liked me turning to her for advice and support when I was grinding through grad school, but REALLY resented me actually getting a graduate degree, and decided to deal with it through emotional abuse. Who knew. So yeah, it sounds like this was always what Alyssa was like, and she's just suddenly decided it's socially acceptable to flaunt it because her online friends encouraged her. Wheeeeee cluster B personality disorders are so fun for friends and family!
Story 1: Alyssa had an affair in order to get a promotion because she was 'criticized' by internet trolls for making less than her husband. So now she's in a relationship with her boss, who will make substantially more than her. Is she going to sleep with at work to try to get another increase in salary?⁵ It's hysterical that Alyssa's AP blamed her for getting fired. As if he wouldn't know the company had rules against fraternizing. Story 3: OP is NTA. OP isn't responsible for 'any share' of his brother's wedding expenses. I don't know when this became a thing. People need to have weddings they (and their parents) can afford.
Shortly after my mom’s death husband broke a Lance jar she had had for many years. She had nabbed them in her divorce decades prior. Bit of pride for that feat. I didn’t get anything personal (clothing, her favorite blanket my grandma knitted) due to my abusive stepdad but I had the 2 Lance jars. I mourned that jar for months. It was my favorite of the 2. Dumb piece of glass but it was part of my mom’s story. Glass, pokemon cards, my husband’s rookie Jerry Rice, Montana and Favre cards…they’re things sure. But nonetheless pieces of us and our stories. Glad he found his pieces.
I've heard of many simps.....but this might be the worst that I've heard in a long time. What takes it to another level is that she's not even sorry and was cheating from the beginning.
I really can't stand the torch and pitchfork crowd on Reddit when it comes to cheating stories. Particularly when it's not even the OPs relationship; yes give them the ultimatum "tell your partner or I will", yes cut contact with them if that's a friendship boundary for you but at the end of the day what someone decides to do with their life and relationships is their choice and their business. White knight syndrome just means you want to make yourself feel better about what happened to someone else.
What's wrong with OP ? Wow . She's alllllll in her " friend's " affair , like it's her husband.🙄 Tell the friend since he's a family friend & bow out gracefully. It just gives them time to spin lies or hide it better.
