Besides the top notch quality content as always I wanted to say that the guitar sound is just perfect in this video. Would love to hear a Christiaan van Hemert guitar album with exactly that tone!
Great video, and your guitar technique Christian, you're playing was really good when you first started these video's but it seems to me that its improved way beyond when you first started. Christian, if you could do a video on "Double Jeu," I think this would be a great video to break down lines, In fact I'm doing this now. I've learned the head, and tackling ALL the different versions is great. I love them all, I love Birelli's live version with Stochelo too. The song is FANTASTIC masterpiece, in my opinion anyway, and a great song to mix scales up in, if players think that way.
@@ChristiaanvanHemert That be great, no ones done this other then Florent Devos, and he's done a good job too. But never touched on the soloing, like which scales to use, which arpeggios, to mix with them, and the diminished, harmonic minor hybrid scale runs. And also, analyzing the different versions, in terms of the tempos and rhythm. They're ALL great!
Looks like it's common for gypsy guitars. I bought Altamira and it also has marker on 10th fret. To be honest, it's annoying since vast majority of guitars today have markers on 9th... Looking at such fretboard without getting used to it is error prone.
I posted a link to a jam video, I hope that is OK. I’m fascinated with Samoreau and would love to hear more about your experiences through the years. Maybe an idea for a future video? “Christiaan’s Epic Samoreau Jam Experience!” I know you’ve played with actual legends, but I’m guessing those Samoreau jams are a blast too.
qquick question, take 1 6 2 5 progression 1 and 6 is the same and you generally omit the 2 anyways so are you allowed to simplify as 1 1 5 5? because im fully starting in your system but im mining licks myself and i want to create minor, major and dominant loops myself so i dont forget these licks and also i want to loop then and feel like a snob

Thanks Don, I'll think about it ;)
Great video and good information as always!
Understandable that the extras are behind a pay wall because making accurate tabs takes a VERY long time.
Good stuff here 👍

Thanks Lorne. I love Double Jeu. Might make a video about that indeed!

my friend, am I having heat exhaustion, or is your fret marker dot on the 10th position!? 🤔👁🎸

@@big_forehead_fish ok so I'm not losing my mind😯🤔😅🤣👍👁👀
Will you be posting video of you jamming at Samoreau?
I wasn't running around the campsite with a camera but I'm sure other people have filmed stuff which should turn up at some point ...

I don't see the link. Could you post it again?

Yes 1625 can be simplified to 1155!
