The small room battles make styles like Eness's relevant ... the big stage seems to expect way to much. Ness was very entertaining. No disrespect to Steams, he has bars, but the vets are doing something magical as far a being balanced. Some things don't translate over well ... if you come to lyrical, it tends to affect your performance, to much performance, it affects your bars, to much written, the feel gets lost, to much free style, it seems as if you didn't prep. Only a few dudes like Charlie, Day, Hollow, Diz, and most recently Reed (surprisingly) have brought that balance that makes shyt just interesting even when they may not be cooking on all fronts. Ness did something special although if you put some of his bars on the scale, they may not weigh much. 2 cents (2-1 Ness, and he did it having fun)
