There's a really cool image going around showing that Sabine cut her hair in the exact same way kanan did after his training with bendu, so maybe it's symbolic in a sense? Her hair was also that short during the epilogue of the series so it's also for consistency I suppose.
I don't see a reason why she cut her hair. It will grow long again anyway. Symbolic thing is weird since when her hair grows long again she has to cut it again to keep the symbolic thing.
I too have checked out since the Kenobi series barely made it through the first episode and found it too boring to continue. I think the orange sabers are meant to be a homage to Vader’s samurai looking saber in one of the original Star Wars posters.
The Orange LightSaber to Darkside users is like the Purple LightSaber to Mace Windu, where he walks a fine line between The Light and the Dark, they too walk a fine line between the Dark and the Light...... they haven't fully turned, meaning they could come back to the Light.
I prefer Thrawn Trilogy adaptation made by Darth Angelus than anything Disney did. I want to see Luke Skywalker as master in his New Jedi Order in Yavin IV, like the EU. Want to see Yuuzhan Vongs and etc... Nothing less. I dont care for Rebels and any Disney terrible show.
Andor has nothing to do with Star Wars. The selling point was how real it is. It is real. Real life blasters, instruments, they take a pee, they use the word "sh*t". Basically everything Lucas wanted Star Wars NOT to be. It doesn't have one liners, it has long theatrical monologues. The characters are well written and well acted, and everyone is going crazy how amazing that is. I'm sorry but that is the very basics in any show. The story is about the everydays of an oppressing regime, you might as well watch a documentary. The main character is the most boring of them all. Don't know if it's the writing or the acting, but literally everyone else is more interesting than him. If they took the Star Wars label off, and called it "everydays in an oppressive regime", I would say it's amazing. But calling it Star Wars when it goes directly against everything Lucas wanted, that should be illegal. It is not Star Wars. If you guys have enjoyed it, I'm happy for you, it just annoyed me to no end.
She just cut her hair because this is the way she was in Rebels. It is ok. Another thing is how practical would it be for her wearing a helmet and having the long hair going under it? It makes total sense.
I gave up on Star Wars a long, long time ago. Pretty much soon as they said the EU wasn’t going to be canon. In my heart Disney Star Wars is the one that isn’t canon.
I hated the hair cuting of Sabine, but if I got it right from the trailer, she kinda gave up using the mandalorian armor. And to wear the helmet, a long hair does not work easily. Like Shae Vizla or Bo Katan, have smaller hair. And since Sabine was always depicted with the very short hair, at least makes sense that she did cut to get back to wear the mandalorian armor. The actress is so beautiful with the long hair, a shame but makes sense to me. I just hope that was not for woke crap reasons.
Andor is actually fairly good I think, however after the Ahsoka trailer I have no real interest in it, Kanan would surely have known if Sabine was force sensitive.....and I loved Rebels....
Looks good still not going to watch it because every other series they have made has turn out to be trash in the end. Also KOTOR 2 you can get orange blades.
I was not planning to watch Kenobi series, but i started to watch out of curiosity, even having 100% certainty that would be a dumpster fire. Then I did rage quit on episode 3, whe Vader faces Kenobi. That was another level of trash! At the and Vader could not reach uncapacitated kenobi because of a 2m fire??! WTF. He would have dashed through the fire and captured him. Or even use the stormtroopers as a carpet to cross. Or even better, just walk around the fire like a normal person would have done. i will never taint more the image that i have of Obi Wan by finishing this atrocity of a show.
Everything feels so derivative as usual. Say what you want about Andor but at least it did it’s own Star Wars story and since it has its own characters it can go into different places and have some consequences.
We still have the EU books, games, and comics. They can never take that from us.
replaying KOTOR right now for probably the 50th time. A game that turns 20 years old tomorrow!
Long live to EU!
This is Filoni's lovechild. Hopefully they will treat this particular show with more dignity than the previous ones.

I am watching as soon as each episode is released.
The hair cutting thing is a life change symbol for usually women. For men they tend to grow their hair long.

Girl power!!
I hope we get to see inquisitors doing crazy big jumps while twirling their lightsabers over their heads like in the cartoon. 😊
I still love your edit of the last jedi bro. Did you see that re-edit of Kenobi? its a movie now and was great! its free

What ever happened to your Star Wars edit - ?

They're not sith, but they're also not jedi, supposedly, we'll find out why their sabers are orange
I see you took time off from punching a number into a computer in an underground bunker/facility at a designated time to talk about the Ahsoka show.
Andor is actually fairly good I think, however after the Ahsoka trailer I have no real interest in it, Kanan would surely have known if Sabine was force sensitive.....and I loved Rebels....

Episode 3 was when I decided to kick Disney+ to the curb.
If you like previous Filoni's work, I guess, you'll like anything from him. It's all more or less the same.
