If your opponent has no pieces left, what moves _can_ they make? As long as they have at least one piece on the board they can keep playing, but once they have no pieces left, it's over. This is the only other way to win, but it's rare as I've started to see.

you can try picture in picture options, the one that you can drag around the screen and always on top of other app, you can try clicking the button on the right side of the frame when you hover around the video

There is an add-on called "RUclips Enhancer". It allows you to do a bunch of stuff, among others hide the end cards.
There used to be an option to turn it off on pc. Not sure for phones
