    Very enjoyable. Nice murals on the buildings. At 6:19 I saw a billboard for Weight Gainer. In the USA our advertisements are for programs to lose weight. We are a nation of overweight people. We eat too much processed food. I'm sure I would lose weight if I lived there. So good to see Bagdan playing with a friend! Thank you Snouci.

      Yeah, even me with my wife we both felt that we lost weight. We eat healthier here. And most of their food here is very healthy. Especially the traditional one.

    Thanks again Senouci for sharing your day with us. Obviously Sri Lanka is a very religious culture. It is nice that they take care of everyone by providing free food. We in West could learn much from them. You continue to come up with interesting subjects. Networking with subscribers in the area is a good way get information you need to live in Sri Lanka. You look so relaxed my friend 💕

      @justterry Every community in the US have free food banks and especially during the covid pandemic, average Americans were lining up for generous food distribution, in fact enough to sustain family's needs at that time, or have you forgotten? They just didn't que up for one prepared meal. Also, there are homeless shelters that continuously prepare hot meals three times a day, all from donations. Homeless, including the working poor are eligible for free food cards. So, we don't need to learn here. In my area alone, some farmers give their excess vegetables to anyone for free as well.

    That's pretty awesome that they have so many festivals and offer free food to everyone. I've read that eating spicy food in hot weather helps cool you down because spicy food makes you sweat and sweat is how the body cools you down. I love spicy food, I'm wondering about the level of spiciness in Indian or Sri Lankan food compared to spicy foods of other countries.

    • @halfrussian
      @halfrussian  Год назад +5

      I think the spiciness in Sri Lanka is the top. But still don't like spicy. I feel even hotter eating it. But maybe they are right and that cool down the body. Maybe I need to eat more of it, and get used to it. :)

    Actually it is not abt for good karma.. the word karma has a deep meaning we should understand that it is not what we generally thinks.. the determination of giving free means getting rid of Greed gradually, when we give things without expecting which gives us happiness, even if u r not familier to giveup things that u do have, it will be not easy to tollerate when u r lost something... everyone have to leave the world one day, we dont know the time and place so literally noone belongs anything which can tell that is mine, eventually, there are no ppl who rich or poor in this world everyone going to die.. be humble and respect to everyone (including animals).. Buddism cannot be judged by ones vision i invite you to learn that on your own knowledge u will be understand how deep these teachings are...
