As a caregiver, i attended patients with different illness and different attitudes, most of the time i heard them uttering bad words but i ignored it, i understand how they felt, i love my job helping elders. I love preparing their food. I like bathing them and changing beddings, cutting nails, combing hair, talking to them. And if my patient died, it hurts a lot

Naiyak tuloy ako, ramdam ko yan. Tumutulong kasi ako sa caregiver ng tatay ko for 6 months na nag bedridden sya, tapos nawala na sya. Ngayon ang mother ko naman ang mayroong caregiver dahil sa may sakit din sya, tumutulong pa rin ako. Mabuti nakapag.aral din nan ako ng caregiver sa Red Cross. Hello! I came across your channel. I can relate to this, because I’m a caregiver too! I used to work in a five star Nursing home here in USA for almost 25 years I retired 2018 ! I work in the Assisted Living facility,I have 18 Residents to take care of ,each residents have their own Care plan some are total assist and some are still independent .The oldest resident I have was 104 years old and still independent! But now I am still doing caregiver as a private ! My patient is 94 years old and I been taking care of her for 4 years now. I Salute to all the caregivers all over the world ! @@ferminabates6824 over here in USA All Nursing homes have yearly inspection from the state to make sure everything is okey and they call it State Survey! They come and inspect the facility like on how you take care of the residents and so on . They usually come in the morning surprise and stay for three days to observed and if they find something wrong the facility will get citations and the facility I used to work always have one or few citations and it’s always the best in one of the Nursing home facility in our area and we get five star for that some nursing home facilities get a lot of violations and they have a lot of citations! Well I appreciate you ,the way you care her..dapat ganon mahalin natin sila ..luto-an mo siya ng kalabasa,patatas ,petchay or spinach, zucchine,,i gisa mo lang sa sibuyas. Tapos kaunting tubig or chicken cube or fresh na sabaw ng baka din blender lahat pagluto na. Kahit un lang ang hihigupin ni Lola mabubusog na sya dahil may patatas at kalabasa na at wala sya ngunguya -in. Puede din lagyan mo ng malilit na pasta or miswa.

Iam elderly caregiver for more than 20 years marami na rin cases naalagaan ko i started in Nursing old folks home. As of now ang alaga ko 75 yrs old undergo major spine surgery 6 months ago parang bata na learning to walk again Your right we must not spoilt them. Let them feel na may silbi pa sila give them some independent. Tayo nman kase na nag aalaga sa kanila nkkakalam kung hanggang saan kaya nlang gawin. Sa mga ibang tao na d alam surface lng nkkita na akalay pinapahirapan natin ang alaga pero hindi. Its for their own good too. Lahat ng sinabi mo relate ako sayo sa tagal ko ng elderly caregiver isa sa mga natutunan ko wag masyado emotional attach sa alaga non una ganyan ako but now i learnt to put some barrier for both own good base in my past experience
Relate ako sa trabaho mo Emz. Masarap ang protein drinks ng mga matanda esp. ang chocolate, coffe & vanilla flavour. Medyo parehas dito ang system niyo diyan, dito pag nag 100 yrs. old na ang matanda 80% ang iba lebre na mga gamot. Mayro'n ako inalagaan na 106 yrs. old namatay siya last mid. March 2020, before ang corona breakout dito sa amin. Naku iyak din ako ng iyak pagkatapos ng shift ko, parang 2nd mother ko na ang alaga ko. Anyway ingat palagi!

Di ako caregiver ms emily, pro relate ako, kc 2 lola ko, ako na ang nag alaga, then sa mother ko bgo din namatay, ako lahat at sa tatay ko, kc wla nmn ako kapatid, may brother ako pro adopted at pwd cia, assisted nmn asawa ko, kc wla nmn akong anak din, kya focus ako sa mga olds ko hangang sa nawala na cla. Mahirap alagaan pro, pinoy tau, mapag alaga at mapag mahal sa mga olds ntin.👍

Naiyak tuloy ako, ramdam ko yan. Tumutulong kasi ako sa caregiver ng tatay ko for 6 months na nag bedridden sya, tapos nawala na sya. Ngayon ang mother ko naman ang mayroong caregiver dahil sa may sakit din sya, tumutulong pa rin ako. Mabuti nakapag.aral din nan ako ng caregiver sa Red Cross. Kaya mag ingat ka dyan lagi Ms. Emily, konting pasensya lang sa mga inaalagaan natin. Gusto rin makapunta ng Israel at Jerusalem, nasa bucketlist ko yan. Take care Ms. Emily and lola. Hello! I came across your channel. I can relate to this, because I’m a caregiver too! I used to work in a five star Nursing home here in USA for almost 25 years I retired 2018 ! I work in the Assisted Living facility,I have 18 Residents to take care of ,each residents have their own Care plan some are total assist and some are still independent .The oldest resident I have was 104 years old and still independent! But now I am still doing caregiver as a private ! My patient is 94 years old and I been taking care of her for 4 years now. I Salute to all the caregivers all over the world ! @@ferminabates6824 over here in USA All Nursing homes have yearly inspection from the state to make sure everything is okey and they call it State Survey! They come and inspect the facility like on how you take care of the residents and so on . They usually come in the morning surprise and stay for three days to observed and if they find something wrong the facility will get citations and the facility I used to work always have one or few citations and it’s always the best in one of the Nursing home facility in our area and we get five star for that some nursing home facilities get a lot of violations and they have a lot of citations! Well I appreciate you ,the way you care her..dapat ganon mahalin natin sila ..luto-an mo siya ng kalabasa,patatas ,petchay or spinach, zucchine,,i gisa mo lang sa sibuyas. Tapos kaunting tubig or chicken cube or fresh na sabaw ng baka din blender lahat pagluto na. Kahit un lang ang hihigupin ni Lola mabubusog na sya dahil may patatas at kalabasa na at wala sya ngunguya -in. Puede din lagyan mo ng malilit na pasta or miswa.

Iam elderly caregiver for more than 20 years marami na rin cases naalagaan ko i started in Nursing old folks home. As of now ang alaga ko 75 yrs old undergo major spine surgery 6 months ago parang bata na learning to walk again Your right we must not spoilt them. Let them feel na may silbi pa sila give them some independent. Tayo nman kase na nag aalaga sa kanila nkkakalam kung hanggang saan kaya nlang gawin. Sa mga ibang tao na d alam surface lng nkkita na akalay pinapahirapan natin ang alaga pero hindi. Its for their own good too. Lahat ng sinabi mo relate ako sayo sa tagal ko ng elderly caregiver isa sa mga natutunan ko wag masyado emotional attach sa alaga non una ganyan ako but now i learnt to put some barrier for both own good base in my past experience
Relate ako sa trabaho mo Emz. Masarap ang protein drinks ng mga matanda esp. ang chocolate, coffe & vanilla flavour. Medyo parehas dito ang system niyo diyan, dito pag nag 100 yrs. old na ang matanda 80% ang iba lebre na mga gamot. Mayro'n ako inalagaan na 106 yrs. old namatay siya last mid. March 2020, before ang corona breakout dito sa amin. Naku iyak din ako ng iyak pagkatapos ng shift ko, parang 2nd mother ko na ang alaga ko. Anyway ingat palagi!
