You could call him a foil to Angeldust in a way. Angeldust wants to escape from Valentino's grasp but is simply too powerless to do so. Vox does have enough power to free himself but he actually likes the guy and thus takes the abuse willingly and keeps coming back for him.

Hey, awesome reaction as usual! Vox's like about how he killed the radio seems to be a reference to two things. First is the phrase "Video killed the Radio Star," which seems to originate from a song by Bruce Wooley and the Camera Club, but a more popular, widespread version of the song was later released by The Buggles. The second origin of it is probably related to Alastor, because according to Vivziepop, Vox and Alastor don't get along well due to their opposing views on technology, with Alastor being connected to more "old-timey" technology due to being a Radio Star, and Vox being much more connected to modern technology, as shown by his TV head.
Also, apparently Vox thinks he's superior to Alastor because he has had McDonald's but Alastor died before it was founded.
Also, the "Him" mentioned is Valentino, Angel Dust's pimp/owner who Vox has an on/off relationship with (as you saw later in the video). The first few mentions of 'V' probably mean Vox, because he's part of a trio, alongside Velvet and Valentino and they are collectively known as "VVV". The last one definitely refers to Valentino though.

@@villainn I wouldn't go that far. While they do definitely have a rivalry because of their respectives views on modern technology (Alastor dislikes it, Vox embraces it), we should keep in mind that not only has Vox not actually shown up in the show for more than a couple seconds, but we also haven't seen the full extent of Alastor's power, so we don't know for certain who would be stronger and we likely won't find out until the actual show is released, since I think that it was said that Vox will be a major antagonist in the series.

The radio line was most likely talking about alastor since he and him have a petty ass rivalry between their views on technology. Alastor being from the 1920-30s thinks anything after those times is garbage or unworthy. (Thinking radio is peak) while Vox is like sort of the google or apple in hell. 💀 him and Alastor seem like they both can go head to head. I think Vivzie did mention that Alastor isn’t THAT strong compared to other characters she will show.
Another thing about Vox is that he has two other business partners? Or best friends working with him called Val and Velvet. Velvet is the least we know about out of the three While Val is the most. Val is pretty much shown to be an abusive and manipulative guy showing to always have his way. (With Angel for example) The line talking about how Vox is “in love with him” is mainly going off of the Instagrams the team used to run before they were taken down. Val and Vox were always in an on and off relationship. Val smashed Vox’s screen this one time for getting an order wrong. Idk how much of the instagrams are canon tho..
We don’t know how strong Val is but bro Vox has a tv for a head, all u have to do is just punch it and it’ll crack. Not too hard. If I had to guess tho Vox is most likely stronger than both Val and Velvet and he’s most likely being manipulated and emotionally abused by Val. (He has everyone around his skinny ass finger, someone needs to beat his ass rq 💀)
Val is more than Vox's friend, he's his full on boyfriend, and both play a surrogate parent role to Velvet, both acting as dads to her

The team will have to say that it's just headcanon because some of the post contain spoiler of the future episodes and as far as I know the team are not allow to spoil

The first "V" (blue) is Vox and The final "V" (red) is Val.
The two of them, along with another girl, are known as the Vees (Vox, Valentino and Velvette).
Vox and Val are a canonical couple, in the video one of the images on the background screens is a photo of Val and Vox.
There are actually 3 V's Vox, Velvet and Val. Vox is the strongest among them but he simply loves Val

The line “and I’m the one who killed the radio”, it means that he ended the time of the radio. The radio is like a symbol of the past and vox is the symbol of the present/future with technology. By this meaning that the radio is slowly going down by popularity as technology is everywhere.
Great reaction! Since this is an original song maybe a name mention (by 'Paranoid DJ') at the beginning of the vid or in the description next to the link would be cool. Also props to reacting to such a recent song, not many have seen it yet.
The radio line could be a reference to the song video killed the radio star since vox represents the all the new technology that makes radios obsolete or to Alastor since they have a rivalry based on their views of technology through the ages
He means he is Alastors constant rival and that his modern technology ruined the radio industry
The only reason Val would be the domineering one is due to manipulation, or as the song puts it Val and Vix made a bet and Val got under Vox's skin and became "a monster he's in love with despite all the pain".
If you want some "reassurance", you can watch the _Hazbin Hotel: Vermin_ fancomic video where Vox takes his revenge and lords over Val.
That said, neither this song or that fancomic are canon so we don't know what the relationship between Val and Vox actually is.
Vox is apparently, rumor has it, the most powerful overlord of the VVV gang, being so powerful he can cause a blackout throughout all of hell by being enraged. Also, remember when Vaggie talked about Alastor and we see the overlords? Notice how they're placed. Some fans speculate that this is a placement of power. Compared to Valentino and Velvet being near the bottom and at the sides, Vox is near the top and dead center. If the theory is true, this would make him one of the most powerful Overlords and much stronger than Valentino and Velvet and a peer of Alastor, who is front and center.
Vox is actually stronger than Val he’s just too much of a simp to fight back lol 😂

When V is colored blue, it's referring to Vox. When it's red, it's about Val
V means Vox and when he later says that he "Belongs to V" in that case he means Valentino.
He... was clearly talking about himself, Vox. Hence V is him. V only becomes Val towards the end.

Vox is really strong, but he's really more the 'brains' type of guy and who attacks from far away thanks to his awesome electricity manipulation powers that allows him to generate and control electricity as well as technology and machines. The thing is - Valentino has a 'contract', he and Vox made a deal. The type that you can't break.
tvs, in RL, killed radios in popularity until eventually virtually no one listened to the radio and only watched TV, that's what he means it's like ' my niche is cooler than yours' thing ig.

i don't know much about this song or vox but i am pretty sure he is talking about how television gotten more popular than the radio so more people use the television, but that is just my guess because i don't think he was talking about alastor, but that is just what i think.

Vox is more powerful then Valentino but he loves him so he doesn't do anything bout it. We don't know the exact power level of any of the V's or Alastor tho. What i believe he means by "I killed the Radio" meaning in the real world Television took over the Radio.
This is an educated guess using only the info we have seen and won't know for sure until more episodes.

Scary Story That Happened Now An Hour Ago:
I’m home alone, my phone just got turned on, and starts playing, i said: “oh i most have pushed play when i didn’t want to.” I went to my right, my phone was my desk, i was on my bed. I jokily said: “Vox, F*ck of you prevented TV-Demon. And _STOP TURNING MY PHONE ON_ no wonder why Val hates you” then my phone just gets THROWN BY NOTHING, TURNED OFF BY ITSELF and the wallpapers changed . Not to puppies or similar to mine, to Valentino being sexuaI to Angel (Home), and on my Lock one it was the same by Vox .
Now my siblings and parents are back i said: “Funny Prank Guys!”
But they were confused, not acting confused, fully confused ..
The camera’s caught it, but we are still confused by what happened..
Idk if it is a demon, a ghost i triggered/angered or what-

If I'm not mistaken, Vox's domain is technology, so Vox is VERY powerful, as you might imagine. However, compare that to Val's domains of sex and drugs..... It may not be physical strength but I think Val is likely even more powerful than Vox.
