I have been watching Mikey Chen and the Strictly Dumpling channel ever since he was in his NYC basement apt and made dinosaur/science videos. This is my first time leaving a comment. This year has just been one of those and I wait for his uploads to experience travel and experience food from his lens. Thank you Mikey for all that you do to keep us entertained. We needed it this year and you delivered! This is not easy on you. You have been an essential worker for millions. Just want you to know that.
I've been trying to do more exercise so I can eat more. But my metabolism won't let me. I'm a petit girl & I watch as the hours roll by to night time & i realize my tummy doesn't have room for dinner. I legit wanna eat like him I could cry yo 😭
@@properjellydontbeproper3652 -it just means your body wasn’t meant for those rigorous routines. Extreme body lifting & Exercise isn’t for everyone’s body. I loved football & tried it out. But, that first open field helmet to helmet tackle on the big game instantly gave me a concussion; & then the Dr saying I’m done, told me right away not all body’s can handle certain things. “The Rock” can consume ten times more than Mikey. That’s just genetics lol.... & yeah, I totally would love to be a foodie if my body allowed it & could afford it lol!! Seriously! It’s a lotta amazingly good food!

Especially in tough times like these when some people's incomes are hurting, you give us an escape to either live through your experiences or give us options for cheap methods if we were to take the opportunity.

K-culture's been emphasizing fitness for at least 20 years. You go look at OG Kdramas from '99 or so, you'll see a lot of the parks have similar equipment, so you can turn your afternoon walk into a full-on workout. Wish more cities would do that here in the States.

When you had the Chol Myun -spicy cold noodles. That was Korean pear slices, not radish, which is why it was sweet. Always used as garnish to cut the spice.

Hey mike. Im korean livin in seoul. I luv ur videos and what u do. However, even koreans are trying to stay home as possible. Korea has a lot of people running small restaurants. And they are having hard time right now because of level 2 for covid. Plz be careful everytime for everyone thanks.
Yo Mikey In Sinchon, Seoul there is a michellin noodle restaurant, they serve these noodles with a topping of some sort of ground beef and gravy, best thing ever. It is called "Tasty Cube"

I found myself eating enough food for two to three people and I’m not mad haha, I love food and i feel like it also opens a portal into another space where whatever stressful is happening doesn’t matter for the 30mins-1.5 hours it takes me to eat haha
Mike.. 9:45 noodle place is called. Yuk Ssam Cold Buckwheat Noodles @ 76, Eoulmadang-Ro, Seoul South Korea. There restaurant does not pop up on google map. I guess the way to get there is by address.
Hey Mikey, before you leave South Korea, make sure to visit Gwangju or the big cities especially on the coastal lines in Jeolla Namdo. You will be surprised to see how many different banchans are served there.
