I remember this ad. I watched it on telly when I was a preteen. Unfortunately I didn't get any Bear in the Big Blue House toys at McDonald's because I thought I was too old for Happy Meal. Anyway Bear in the Big Blue House is just silly 😋 for me. I used to watch it when I was a kid and it was shown on RTÉ 2 and Disney Channel UK and Ireland years ago.
Oh I remember I had Bear (not the one with the book) and I had Pip and Pop. Very recently I found the toy of Bear with the book, in a charity shop for 20 pence.
I remember this advert, I had Ray/Luna. and I think I had some of the others, I can not remember which other ones I had but I definitely remember I had Ray because I used to have him in my bed and turn him inside out when it was night-time.
Not being nasty or anything but instead of making two versions of Bear, why not make a toy of Shadow? that would make a lot more sense because Shadow was important, she was on every episode, she was even on the specials.

Shadow was incredibly freakish and disturbing. Almost near psycho-like in sone cases… though I do see that you made a good point..
