Last time we had a literal Spirit Bomb and people wearing literal Plot Armor. I expect someone to wield a Spirit Sword that cleaves the bad guy in half, only for the bad guy to become part of the universe, and then an omni-powerful being destroys/resets the universe.
Honestly when it comes to Harley, her ability to stomp anyone in this movie never bothered me. No moment will ever reach as over powered and insulting as her single handed take down of the justice league during Heroes in Crisis.
It's not speculating Doc Manhattan because Wally is Blue, he's got the damn logo on his forehead. It's super obvious there is supposed to be a connection
The movie shouldve just been called Harley Quinn. So what if there are other characters helping her. Deadpool2 literally had dozens of mutants helping him, yet the movie was still simply called Deadpool2.

You have to remember that Margot Robbie produced Birds of Prey so if she wanted to call the movie that then that's what it was going to be called because she was the one giving several of those millions of those dollars.
Despite Lobdell's insistance that this isn't like Zero Hour, the stuff with Wally, it feels very reminscient of that event, especially the build up to it.

I'm a huge X-fan but I have to admit that I've been keeping the issues in my "to read" list post Hox/Pox rather than reading them as they come out. While I know it's going to end up me being spoilt by some/many of the plots, I would rather read my backlog once all the deeper plots are in motion and the growing pains for Hickman's vision are over. I have a feeling that without the backlog, I'll end up having a lot of "what the hell is this???" reactions to what's going on to the point of potentially turning me off. You know, like Kitty Pryde naming herself after a team who massacred the Morlocks and led to Angel being turned into Archangel. Which...I guess is me waiting for trade while buying the singles. Huh. I really, REALLY, want to know what the heck DC are smoking right now. How many "mini-crisis" is this going to be in a row? Dark Knights Metal, Doomsday Clock, Heroes in Crisis, the magic thing with Wonder Woman, Year of the Villian/Perpetua insanity and now DKM 2? It's utterly insane.

He breaks down a huge possibility why the film tanked, and even brought up the fact that aside from Wonder Woman the 2 best reviewed DCEU films after Justice league, Shazam and Harley Quinn, have not done well in the box office. I loved the idea of the dark multiverse characters that spawned from the event. Damage, the terrifics and sideways. It's a shame they did not last very long. I'm always excited for new characters and thought the were good representations of DC versions of Hulk, Fantastic four and spiderman.
My biggest complaint about Birds of Prey was the bastardization of the Renee Montoya and Cassie Cain characters. They could’ve named those characters any other name and you’d have pissed off less people lol And in regards to the movie being a type of feminist flick, there were literally zero male characters that weren’t assholes. The portrayal of strong powerful women could’ve been done without shitting men. I suspect Wonder Woman 84 and Black Widow will do a much better job and do better at the box office.

Did January change your release schedule? I've noticed that by the time you've released videos recently the "news" your talking about is at least a week or more old. For example dr Manhattan Wally west has been confirmed, the official details of death metal have come out etc. And I've seen it with the weekly pull with Dan , the books their discussing sometimes are almost two weeks old
Absolute Comics is filmed over on Twitch then they release it onto their RUclips channel later. They do this to incentify viewers to go over to their patreon because you can get early access to their videos on patreon (They say this at the beginning of ever video).

Fantastic Four are always meh... Reed Richard's is really the highlight of the team and a major part of the Marvel universe alongside Galactus and Doom. I have no gripes with Human Torch, Thing or Sue but they are just fillers imo.
