I agree that with the huge tool variety these days, it is best to think about the needs and later look for the tool, but most of us are impressed by the tool and later think about how shell I use it. Many apps "sell" us the dream that our problems will be over if we use a certain app, but it is the opposite, creating more work.

Along these lines, would you make a video about how you would use the Microsoft system with a team? I’m also in pharma on the clinical research side and I’m desperately trying to create a simple productivity system for my team that’s relying on manually updating dozens of excel spreadsheets and my brain is soup. 💀 Trying to smash together SharePoint sites, teams and channels, outlook, lists, planner and loop is such a nightmare. I’m sure I’m not the only one! I really wish I could just use Notion, but I can’t- I have to leverage existing tools, just like you’re saying.
This is where Microsofts problem creates a Microsoft solution, for which you need a subscription!
Microsoft Loop is almost really good lately
I’m holding out hope for loop- but right now it’s just so glitchy and separated from the rest of the ecosystem that I know I can’t try to explain it to my team

the google and microsoft tools are too basic in my experience
In different aspects. Just see how Google Workspace provides the Productivity layer for Teams to collaborate... So poor! Not a simple subtask for Space Chats... You need to install third-party paid plugins... after paying the Business Google plans... Not fair! At least, in Microsoft there are some alternatives within the same suite.
