  • Masih Alinejad talks about freedom means to her. Where she found the courage to fight for her rights. She touches topics like how Iran oppresses her and so many other woman. How the government blames the women for being raped because they weren't covered up enough.
The official opening of the freedom festival revolves around Mauritanian writer Mohamedou Ould Slahi and Iranian activist Masih Alinejad. They will go into conversation with De Balie director Yoeri Albrecht and mayor Femke Halsema about freedom.

God bless you Ms Alinezhad. Your are right. But the problem is that Western polititions don't lissten to oppresed people. They only care about their own benifits. If they benifit from supporting human rights they will do it. Otherwise they don't. But thank you you for efforts anyways. 🙏🙏🙏

"There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people."
"TO BE HOPEFUL in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness. What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places-and there are so many-where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory."
"The challenge remains. On the other side are formidable forces: money, political power, the major media. On our side are the people of the world and a power greater than money or weapons: the truth. Truth has a power of its own. Art has a power of its own. That age-old lesson - that everything we do matters - is the meaning of the people’s struggle here in the United States and everywhere. A poem can inspire a movement. A pamphlet can spark a revolution. Civil disobedience can arouse people and provoke us to think, when we organize with one another, when we get involved, when we stand up and speak out together, we can create a power no government can suppress. We live in a beautiful country. But people who have no respect for human life, freedom, or justice have taken it over. It is now up to all of us to take it back."
"We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world."
"But I suppose the most revolutionary act one can engage in is... to tell the truth."
    ~ Howard Zinn

"Gorgeous is that head of hair - that stands out and true -- like no other!!!"
"In truth, in strength, in womanhood -- sheer, sheer, & sheer - beauty! That is, Masih et aliae!!!"
"It is not an absence of fear, that defines the gladiatrix. It is that she, is willing to fight, for what she holds true and dear."
"A rough cut diamond - whose inherent preciousness - needs no polishing."
"Tiny? No a "TITAN" for our times!"

I think there is a problem in Iran and Ukraine because I don't have the freedom of choice in America so it was carried over to them. For instance choosing what to eat or having a girlfriend or even a job that I like. Their education takes your freedom of choices away.

La suffisance, la fatuité, l'imertinance de Yoeri Albrecht (un réalisateur au travail plus ou moins quelconque, il est important de remettre les choses en perspective...) est tout simplement scandaleuse...On remarquera le "I know.' (plus que puant d'orgueil) vers 10'07" quand Masih Alinejad (très en verve et élegante..) lui a dit "you could have stopped me anytime you want..." On voit ici la difference entre une femme qui sait ce que risquer sa vie veut dire et un grimaçant fallot empli de fantasmes de violence. Une femme, et un minable...devant public.

Who js Iranian enemies? I suppose you're referring to the Iranian people are are fighting the terrorist regime, the regime that this filthy terrorists, whose real name is Masume Ghomikala represents. This is not 1979 anymore, we Iranians have understood how western criminam elites like Bernard-Henry Levy who has created this filthy monster operate. We only want one thing, to have our Shah back, our kingdom back and throw away all these scumbags.

    Dear lady Alinezhad,
The greatest service that you will do to your homeland is to change your last name to an Iranian name such as ایراندوست or ایرانمنش or other Iranian names like that.
When Cassius Cely changed his name to Muhammad Ali, all black American libertarians joined her in fighting for the rights of this underprivileged.
    Please think about that,
By doing such an actipn, you can change a lot of things and contribute a lot of ideas to the culture of self-knowledge, and this is not a nationalist move, because you give a resounding no to this bloodthirsty regime, and you want the rights of women and the rights of the oppressed in this country.
This is a fact and I think it is true.
Ali was none other than Qassem Soleimani of Khamenei, perhaps even more criminal.
