In Wincestre , after you killed the member of the order, who used kids as spy (maybe a GOT reference), if you go to the church where one of the treasure is at, you will find the kids there, talk with one of them and he will say that you're a great warrior, and his dad was a warrior, but all he did was complain about how he once took an arrow to the knee (skyrim reference).

At one of the arcs, there is a city called Jorvik, or another nickname they call is “the city of greed” during one of the interactions you come across the Karl and hjjor who talk about silver. The jarl says they need more silver, and hjjor responds to the Karl with these similar words, “where do I find silver, a dragons hoard?” Which is a direct hint to The Hobbit. And the city of erebor, whoms who enter it will become greedy hence why this city is called city of greed. The dragons hoard is a direct pointer to the Smaug who is covered in gold deep in the mountains of erebor😎

I think there is another egg that's been missed on most channels. The recipe for Worcestershire sauce, in Ledecestrescire. It can be found by helping the brewer. He will ask you to catch 3 eels to finish the recipe. I can't remember the exact wording in the quest but I believe that it hints at the beginning of this hard to pronounce sauce. The points are Apples of Eden locations. Same thing with the Staff of Eden and the Sword of Eden, only the Shroud of Eden is there only one of since it holds the consciousness of an Esu

They're not named after them. They are them. Lerion is Lear and their story is roughly the same as in the play except for the bit about them being witches.
There's also a reference to Robin Hood in snotinghamscire now known as Nottingham today. You help him fend off guards and he'll quote the famous line "steal from the rich and give to the poor" and you can actually go to Sherwood forrest. Also the Vinland quest and that reference was my favourite! but I won't spoil it.
Love the cameos of Bayek and Desmond, Really made me happy as an AC fan. Also i don't know if this counts as a proper easter egg but the native american people that Eivor gives the Apple of Eden to are the ancestors of Connor's tribe meaning that Eivor indirectly caused the events of AC3 to play out centuries later

I think i found another Lord of the Rings Easter Egg in Hamptunscire where a house holds a letter complaining about guests and a druid with a letter and ring on it?
When you get to Asgard you get to talk to a dwarf blacksmith as part of the quest and in the part where he starts naming all of his dwarven ancestors, Eivor will cut him off but if you stay and listens to all of them and he does say a lot of name you'll notice Gandalf is one of them and this is a reference to the hobbit when all the dwarves were introduced.
There is a third Origins Easter Egg. In Wincestre, you have to help a boy name Esobert to impress the princess. Esobert wants to get a flower out of a tree, so you climb up to get it and then do a leap of faith out of the tree. After the mystery ends, Esobert refers to himself as Esobert the Flea. This is a hat tip to "The Flea of Cyrene" in AC Origins, where little Esio is impressed with Bayek's leaps of faith, and names him The Flea. I would not be surprised if Esobert appears again in the DLC, in the same way Esio did.
There is one more Easter egg, this one is in Asgard. There is a mission where you have to find some ingredients for a blacksmith so he can craft something for you and when you bring these ingredients to him he says "this recipe is known through my cousins bifur, bombur, villi, killie etc. Actually this is a fourth LOTR easter egg in AC valhalla

If you read some of the papers on the wall when you get out of the animus, there's one note there that references the speculation that Haytham Kenway, had been named by Edward Kenway, after the Hytham we see in Valhalla.

When you go to Jotunheim, in "the price for wisdom" at the very end of the quest Hyrrokin speaks into an orb and says "the probabilities lead us here, the calculations give us hope." WHICH is heard by Bayek in one of the ancient tombs, as if he is hearing it from a precursor. When I saw it I nearly jumped out of my skin lmao.
thats were tolkin took inspiration for the names, for the dwarfs. for example Bömburr ``the swolen one´´ or for Gandalf it is actually ,Gandálfr the ``magic elf´´
yes these are actual names of dwarves in the mythology. i believe "Voluspa" within the Poetic Edda tells you these names. Tolkien used these names in his story of the Hobbit and obviously LOTR. but the names originate from Nordic Myth. so it is not strange that a dwarf would mention such things.
4:00 in the german version of the game the easter egg refers to the german punkrock band "die Ärzte". During the fight the npcs sing parts of some of their songs. I think it's amazing how much effort they put in translating this scene. Does anyone know if this happens in other languages too? Edit: I just found out that the quest is named after one of their live albums "wir wollen nur deine Seele" which is translated to "We just want your soul"

She follows you around singing of whatever you do. The only way to get rid of her is to pay her. If you pay her the minimum amount possible, she sings the following, "Brave Eivor ran away. Bravely ran away away!" In exactly the same tune as the minstrel from the scene in the Holy Grail.
You missed the Edgar Allen Poe easter egg. Theres a world event (cant remember where) where a crazy man claims his wife is speaking to him. You find out its just the wind howling through a boarded window. After breaking the boards the man yells at you about how she is silenced. He then attacks you and after killing him you find out he was driven crazy after killing his wife.

there is a santa reference in the snowy northwest, near a chest. its two dead men(santa and an elf), a chest(sac of presents), an open top cart of some sort( sleigh) and a dead reindeer. it looks to have crashed and killed everyone on board.
There is a reference to Robin Hood and there is a place on the map somewhere in Eurovicshire called Sheriff Wood, the sidequest is about Archery. The other sidequest is combined as "Robin" hints at "The rich get poorer and the Poor get Richer" also states at "Meet me and my Merry Men for an Ale". More references to Robin Hood.
Biggest Easter egg in the game to me is toward the LOTR stuff! I actually had just finished playing some Shadow of War gameplay and personally could hardly tell a difference between allot of Shadow of War and Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay! 👍
So there is a side quest that has you go inside a house and the lady tries to poison gas you when you get in the house. Then when you get outside she turns into an enemy. The Easter egg is while you’re trying to get in the house she is humming the original Star Trek theme song.
THERE IS A ROBIN HOOD REFERENCE TOO, head north of Repton into Sherwood Forest. There is a bunch of people (little John being one of them) practicing archery. Their side quest is called The Good Men of Sherwood
There is also a small reference to for honor(another one of Ubisoft’s games), you can find an axe that is shared with a character from for honor(raider)

There's one you missed that I couldn't help but laugh at. Some merchants sell a, I guess you could call it a map, named Fantastic Fish and where to find them. Which of course is a Fantastic Beasts Easter egg.
There is another brilliant one where some guy tries to create the perfect sauce for his food, but is disappointed all the time. After he tells you to try a new one and you absolutely hate it, he proclaims to move to Worchester and try his luck there, remarking something like "Although I'll be buggered if I'm going to name my sauce after that meagre place.", a brilliant reference to the now world famous Worcestershire sauce.
If you manage to return to the settlement with Sigurd after the final quest, they will go to the longhouse and Sigurd will tell Eivor to "sit a moment and rest" on the throne. I believe it's a reference to AC Revelations ending where the game tells you to sit a moment and rest after Altair hides the apple.
I went into this to hype myself to finally play the game. Easer eggs have always been my favorite things in series as games, anime, movies, and books. Plus it's assassins creed once I beat Valhalla I have beaten them all finally

The white elk you chase with Petra is another HP reference (harrys patronus) A whild in Winchestre says "grinds bones to make bread", a reference to jack and the beanstalk. Age of empires reference, I cant remember what context it was in, but one of the charachters says "you should see the other guy" a clear reference to one of the automated chat comments you could make in AOE2

When you get to Asgard you get to talk to a dwarf blacksmith as part of the quest and in the part where he starts naming all of his dwarven ancestors, Eivor will cut him off but if you stay and listens to all of them and he does say a lot of name you'll notice Gandalf is one of them and this is a reference to the hobbit when all the dwarves were introduced.
I was just skimming the comments to see if anyone mentioned that. I came across it today and it made me super happy!

There is a third Origins Easter Egg. In Wincestre, you have to help a boy name Esobert to impress the princess. Esobert wants to get a flower out of a tree, so you climb up to get it and then do a leap of faith out of the tree. After the mystery ends, Esobert refers to himself as Esobert the Flea. This is a hat tip to "The Flea of Cyrene" in AC Origins, where little Esio is impressed with Bayek's leaps of faith, and names him The Flea.
I would not be surprised if Esobert appears again in the DLC, in the same way Esio did.

There is a mission where you have to find some ingredients for a blacksmith so he can craft something for you and when you bring these ingredients to him he says "this recipe is known through my cousins bifur, bombur, villi, killie etc. Actually this is a fourth LOTR easter egg in AC valhalla

When you go to Jotunheim, in "the price for wisdom" at the very end of the quest Hyrrokin speaks into an orb and says "the probabilities lead us here, the calculations give us hope." WHICH is heard by Bayek in one of the ancient tombs, as if he is hearing it from a precursor. When I saw it I nearly jumped out of my skin lmao.
The Dwarf in Asgard lists many Names of Characters of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, like Thorin, Gandalf and so on... Quite funny as I realize it.

thats were tolkin took inspiration for the names, for the dwarfs. for example Bömburr ``the swolen one´´ or for Gandalf it is actually ,Gandálfr the ``magic elf´´
yes these are actual names of dwarves in the mythology. i believe "Voluspa" within the Poetic Edda tells you these names. Tolkien used these names in his story of the Hobbit and obviously LOTR. but the names originate from Nordic Myth. so it is not strange that a dwarf would mention such things.
Side note: The gollum Easter egg on the island, the actor sounds an awful lot like the wood elves and high elves in Elder Scrolls Oblivion.
4:00 in the german version of the game the easter egg refers to the german punkrock band "die Ärzte". During the fight the npcs sing parts of some of their songs. I think it's amazing how much effort they put in translating this scene. Does anyone know if this happens in other languages too?
Edit: I just found out that the quest is named after one of their live albums "wir wollen nur deine Seele" which is translated to "We just want your soul"

There are actually two more Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit Easter eggs.
The first is a letter that can be found in a home in Glowcester (the houses there already look a lot like Hobbit holes). The letter says “One of the little folk asked me to make the door smaller, as he wants to keep unruly houseguests from his house. After the nonsense with the druid last fall, I can see his point.” This is a clear reference to The Hobbit when Gandalf shows up at Bagend and asks Bilbo to go on an adventure.
The second one can be found in Asgard. After you talk to the dwarf Ivaldi at his forge for the first time, he starts to list different dwarves who passed down the riddles. Some of these names are references to members of the company, including: Gandalf, Thorin, Bombur and Nori
In one of the mysteries you vote with some kids and they ask what their group name should be, one of the options is the Shadow Dragons maybe someone likes Dragonball GT in Ubisoft

You missed a Monty Python reference. There is a reference to the scene with Sir Robin the brave. Essentially you rescue a minstrel from a tower in Essex (I think?) She follows you around singing of whatever you do. The only way to get rid of her is to pay her. If you pay her the minimum amount possible, she sings the following, "Brave Eivor ran away. Bravely ran away away!" In exactly the same tune as the minstrel from the scene in the Holy Grail.

You missed the Edgar Allen Poe easter egg. Theres a world event (cant remember where) where a crazy man claims his wife is speaking to him. You find out its just the wind howling through a boarded window. After breaking the boards the man yells at you about how she is silenced. He then attacks you and after killing him you find out he was driven crazy after killing his wife.
I went through the whole Walloper side mission without realizing it’s a One Punch Man reference...you meant to say he could’ve defeated me in one punch this whole time!? I was lucky that I never got hit once!

In Vinland there is an Assassin's Creed 3 Easter Egg where Eivor brings the piece of Eden to Juno's vault, before deciding he can't be bothered. The British Empire theme also plays as part of the ambient music in Vinland, which is a reference to Black Flag, but mostly Rogue.

You missed another LOTR refrence in the first asgard arc, after talking to the dwarf about glepnir and the impossible objects he'll go off and talk about his legacy, among them are named the company of 13
there is a santa reference in the snowy northwest, near a chest. its two dead men(santa and an elf), a chest(sac of presents), an open top cart of some sort( sleigh) and a dead reindeer. it looks to have crashed and killed everyone on board.
There is a reference to Robin Hood and there is a place on the map somewhere in Eurovicshire called Sheriff Wood, the sidequest is about Archery. The other sidequest is combined as "Robin" hints at "The rich get poorer and the Poor get Richer" also states at "Meet me and my Merry Men for an Ale". More references to Robin Hood.
Biggest Easter egg in the game to me is toward the LOTR stuff! I actually had just finished playing some Shadow of War gameplay and personally could hardly tell a difference between allot of Shadow of War and Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay! 👍

So there is a side quest that has you go inside a house and the lady tries to poison gas you when you get in the house. Then when you get outside she turns into an enemy. The Easter egg is while you’re trying to get in the house she is humming the original Star Trek theme song.
THERE IS A ROBIN HOOD REFERENCE TOO, head north of Repton into Sherwood Forest. There is a bunch of people (little John being one of them) practicing archery. Their side quest is called The Good Men of Sherwood

There's one you missed that I couldn't help but laugh at. Some merchants sell a, I guess you could call it a map, named Fantastic Fish and where to find them. Which of course is a Fantastic Beasts Easter egg.
There is another brilliant one where some guy tries to create the perfect sauce for his food, but is disappointed all the time. After he tells you to try a new one and you absolutely hate it, he proclaims to move to Worchester and try his luck there, remarking something like "Although I'll be buggered if I'm going to name my sauce after that meagre place.", a brilliant reference to the now world famous Worcestershire sauce.
If you manage to return to the settlement with Sigurd after the final quest, they will go to the longhouse and Sigurd will tell Eivor to "sit a moment and rest" on the throne. I believe it's a reference to AC Revelations ending where the game tells you to sit a moment and rest after Altair hides the apple.
I went into this to hype myself to finally play the game. Easer eggs have always been my favorite things in series as games, anime, movies, and books. Plus it's assassins creed once I beat Valhalla I have beaten them all finally
