Good info sir, a lot of industrial electricians have difficulty understanding the relationship between in rush curents ( locked rotor current ) and the normal running currents between unloaded and fully loaded or "FLA". Understanding how the back EMF produced drops the high inrush current after the motor reaches it's rated speed to counteract the input EMF otherwise if the motor rotor did not move the in rush current would remain high and trip your motor overload protection.

This was very enlightening I've never understood this before but now I can see that Dr Dolittle was on to something with his Pushme Pullyou. Thank you so much.

I had an idea about force fields for things using this exact example when doing this experiment for my friends. Buddy said I think your magnet stuck in the pipe!😂😂😂😂

Yeah I recently made a pulse motor with 1mm thick magnets and they weren't strong enough to generate any energy . The 2mm magnets i replaced them with were though . 1 mm thicker yet 4-5 times greater strength . So so essentially the weren't strong enough and I don't have enough windings nor speed to overcome the resistance of even the lightest load . I pretty much experienced exactly what Rob is explaining in this video . 😂

If you attach this pipe with magnets in it to a cat with a peanut butter sandwich taped to its back and you drop them you create a perpetual motion free energy device.

For some reason I feel like this was a response to or refresher because of a comment I made and sent explaining what was in my head about wire size and amps. It had made sense in my own head because I knew what I meant. Basically what Im saying is this is one of the videos to save some place to show or go over before talking about or building generators or motors with kids or others wanting to learn. Its funny cause cause most of the people im around wouldn't have said anything either because they understood what I meant or cause we are Canadian lol figure its the Brit that has to correct me lol Thanks mate

I think some filaments in bulbs will increase in resistance as they get hot and the current will then decrease some. When the bulb is cold, the inrush if high current could cause the filament to melt.

If we say used gold wire to make our coil , would we get more energy?

For axial flux motor what would happen if instead two stators with coils and a rotor with magnets tha stators are replaced with copper plates? Wouldn't this be similar to dropping the magnet down a copper pipe?

Can you put several magnets in copper pipe and cap it with wires on it and shake it and generate electric

What do you think about solid oxide ion exchange with companies like bloom box? No moving parts is the goal after all. It should be anyway.

Mr Murray I would love to ask u a question. I'm a proud father my son is autistic and I I'm researching renewable consistent energy systems.. I never really cared for school or anything because it was to easy.. I'm self motivated. I ask you could u not use an sustainable source (dc) v to an stabilizer dcv-dcv then to an inverter dcv-acv. (a+b+c)+D Then that to an Optimus Prime account to ac.. then u would have an measurable amount of the key Element... E being usable greater than what you put In at the sStart. Which I have designed in theory.. it should work.....

Using all elements of nature to achieve a system for the purpose of sourcing Clean sustainable energy into all homes globally worlds wide especially the poorest of nations and top environmental leaders. Recycle ♻️ find yours sources.. I'm getting closer and closer everyday to making this a Reality-based on my theories. Im just an low class american citizen in some dirt road town. But strive to help over come these years of pollution and corruption. I was lost but now I see.

So on the subject of generators why not strip out the petrol motor and find different power supply to turn the generator like I did at F-AIR GENERATORS TO ELECTRICITY can you make it better
