Hey Dennis. I saw your question on Sean's channel and I just wanted to give you some encouragement. I started my channel about 18 months ago and I currently have about 18k subs. I'm by no means no expert on youtube but I will tell you, for most of us it's all about a breakout video. I've found that all the other info doesnt apply until you have that first breakout. After my first 6 months I had 40 videos, about 300 subs, and maybe 1500 total views. And then it happened. YT started showing one of my first videos like crazy. In three days, 100k views, and 800 new subs. Since then I've had 2 more breakout videos. The reality is that of my 80+ videos, 3 are responsible for 15k of my 18k subs. Keep making videos with a breakout video in mind. Do countdowns. Do something a little crazy in your video (when you mention plastic show a little green man who stores too much food in plastic). Anyway, take my advice for what it is. One man's opinion. But dont underestimate how one video can change everything. Last thing. It doesnt take that much to get sponsors. I had companies reaching out to me as soon as I started averaging 500 views a day. I wish you the best of luck! -Mark

Thanks Mark! I appreciate the encouragement. In the past month alone I’ve gained 96 subs, so I’m feeling pretty good about the future. Thanks!

I'm confused. Haven't these been out for many years. I have mutltiple sets. The newest models I see are the pyrex with lids made with glass and silicone to where they attach to the bowl

I’m not sure what glass lids you are referring to as I have been unable to find them.

Yeah, the lids could be better. Glass quality: 10/10 • Plastic lid quality: 6/10

How to remove scratch in the cover?

    • @DennisfromScratch

If by "cover" you mean lid, then sadly there is no way since the lids are made of plastic and there is no way to remove scratches from plastic. Hope this helps!

We’ve had these for several years now and haven’t chipped any! Not sure what kind of magic they use, but it’s working so far.
