The overnight vlog sounds so fun and that book sounds so creepy! I’m sorry to hear about the aero Garden! I’m a little relieved that I didn’t purchase one yet, though. Raina was so cute throughput the video 😊. Great picks for October and hope you enjoy! 🎃👻

I'm with Raina. Definitely no to animal harm in books - at all, of course. Good luck on reading through the night. I'd join you but I can't do without my sleep!

Thanks! Yes, I'm still thinking about the details and of course, coffee and snacks will be involved. Raina says, "Hi" - she MAY stay beside on the overnight read or she may just go to bed without me! LOL! Let's see what she chooses - it will be interesting.

@ellenmadebookclub thank you! 😊 LOL! It does sound a bit scary! I think it will be just right for me! The one I'm reading now, "Imaginary Friend" is pretty creepy too. 😳 I should be totally freaked out by November. Beartown is next for me. Looking forward to it.
You've got some good books for October! And, I'm definitely with Raina on vetoing The Troop. I can't read about that in books. 😞 Your overnight read sounds fun. It would also be fun if you let us choose which one you read for that 🤣 That makes me sad about aerogarden. I wasn't expecting to hear that sad news.
Oh, yes! That would be a good idea - to make my overnight read a "Viewer's Choice"! If all goes well, I'll do that next time. For this one, I'll stick with "Incidents Around the House" - it seems "appropriately terrifying" - if there is such a thing (and during Halloween Season, yes - I think there is!)
Oh no about aerogarden!! Hope you can find good quality seed pods from other vendors! Your 24 hour vlog sounds fun. I think Gunslinger will be my token "dark" book for October. And I'm reading A Spy In The House by Lee for Victober as it's set in Victorian times. Enjoy your spooky reads!!

I read so little horror, need to get brave & have a go, I think. 'Managing & Other Lies' sounds terrific (& what a memorable title), maybe this is my gateway, thanks for another great video.
I really don't read a whole lot of it myself. It can be a bit "triggering", but I guess any book can. It's just that with horror, you can't always be sure what kinds of twists and turns the story will take.

One of the books I plan to read in October is You Like It Darker by Stephen King. Until you mentioned the reason counties in Florida are banning King's books may be for political reasons, I never thought of it. It makes sense since he is so outspoken against Republicans.
My sister was walking past my room when I was watching your videos. She loves Raina. She said she loves how personable you are. She loves watching people such as yourself.
@stuartgriffin1001 I hope you like "You Like It Darker" - I read it a couple of months ago. I liked the story, "Rattlesnakes" the best. I thought it was the creepiest one. Thank you for your kind words! Tell your sister I said, "Hi" - lol!

I know you have read a lot of Stephen King novels. I don’t think I’ve heard of this one that you’re planning to read. It’s amazing: he’s written so many novels over the last 50 years, and every now and then, you hear of a title that you’ve never heard of before. You are very brave to stay up and read all night! I couldn’t do that if I tried. No more aerogardens?? Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. I’m glad, though, that you will still be able to make do. 😢 Hope you and Raina are doing well! 🥰
@BookChatWithPat8668 I hadn't heard of it, either. The book is one of my "Fabulous Finds of the Thrifting Kinds" - lol! Then when heard about the Florida ban, I wondered if I had any of the King's to put on my Banned TBR. Lo and behold, what do you know!?!
@BookChatWithPat8668 Let's see how long I last! LOL! It's all just talk at this point. And I won't really be alone - Donna will be sleeping upstairs and Raina will be around somewhere. Maybe with me, maybe not! 🤔 I think the Aerogarden thing will be ok. I need to get in touch with some of my Aerosmith friends and see what the next hot brand will be!

When I read at night now, after a certain hour, I just fall asleep whether I want to or not! But you will be reading a horror novel, so that just might keep you wide awake! 😬

@@thegkbc4510 That's interesting! I don't know a lot about Tom Gordon, but I was very surprised to see it on the banned list. I would have been over my head with The Troop in a quick hurry! Several of my viewers gave me warnings on that one!
I don't mind putting up with ya. You're well behaved and even tempered. And you don't yell at strangers. I don't think I've watched a review for The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I'll wait for yours. I think baseball is the sport with bat and goalposts. Not a 100% on that.
@someothercharacter I see you are a man of taste and distinction! You choose your acquaintances carefully, even going so far as to notice their tolerance for yelling at strangers and reviewing obscure books. Baseball is much more fun when played on snow skiis. Have you noticed?
